Staff was great! Room was immaculate! The location is the best! Pick Parnell you can't go wrong! Studio was not spacious but adequate. Did not use exercise room, etc. Great place to walk and enjoy. Love Auckland!!!!. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the apartments are well appointed. We were in Auckland for a few days for a friend's wedding and it suited us very well being in a perfect location.
all reviews » Excellent place to stay since we arrived over a weekend and there are no pubs around the place to mar your sleep. The bus stop is very near and you can reach the city in less than 10 mins. Easy to walk to Vector Arena Private car-park reserved for us Easy access to and from our apartment - with key card Gym and pool Sky TV Nice room - good heating/air conditioning. Quest Parnell is an amazing place to stay. And has amazing spacious units. It is also great to have the nice big Kitchen and extra space away from the bedrooms. Gym, quiet room, clean, sky channels, kitchen and washer/dryer in standard twin room is an added bonus. Close to cafes, bars, and walking distance to the city. I did like the way the staff treated the mess up with the booking and attended to it in an orderly manner and upgraded the booking. Friendliness of staff and the fact that we could check in 2 hours early. Very clean rooms containing excellent facilities. Communication prior to booking - reminder by email and f/up email about a/hrs access. Car park access and named. The convenience of the Quest with regard to easy transport and close to a number of good restaurants and cafes. nice apartments in an ideal location.Just a short stroll from some great eating.Have parking at reaonable cost. Parking when you first arrive, unsure of where to park and come into reception to begin with Fan in bathroom didn't work. We were on the ground floor which meant we had a massive outside area. But there was no chairs or anything out their which meant it was kind of pointless. I didn't like the mess up with the booking. I booked a twin room and was given a double. I was with a business partner so needed twin beds. I recently spent a month traveling around Europe and 10 days in New Zealand. This Quest hotel was the only hotel which charged for Wi Fi. This is an extra charge and would put me off staying here again. very hard to fault, we were very happy. Receptionist at front counter was rude when I inadvertently used the residents lift. Pillows were hard. Not staying long enough. nothing. Check out shd be later than 10am.
