First of all, when we arrived, Goran (the manager) was waiting for us. He explained everything, gave tips of places to visit the city, showed the whole house and its facilities. I could feel immediately the level of care and love he put even in the smallest details... The location is perfect, less then 10 minutes walk from the train station. The room was very comfortable, very clean, and very cousy. Goran was everyday there to clean, do the beds, fill the fridge, coffee etc... it was more effic

There were so many thoughtful touches in our room. We had a choice of coffees in our room, cookies, water, and a light breakfast if we wanted to eat there. We didn't, because the breakfast downstairs was so varied and in a cozy breakfast room with interesting people to visit. It was like being a favorite guest in someone's home.

This was our first trip to Amsterdam and certainly won't be our last, due mainly to the excellent service and kindness of Chris and David at the Tulip of Amsterdam. (in fact, we made a second reservation on our last day! I think that says it all!) Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped as was the rest of this lovely old refurbished building. The staff was great! Very friendly (not just helpful, but friendly).
The beds were good, the heating too. It has breakfast, and they offer coffee and tee at anytime.

My host was very nice! The place was nice and comfortable. It's like a home away from home. It was quiet except for the church bells ringing nearby but given all the possible noise somewhere else, I'll take the church bells anytime! Also serves as an alarm clock for 8am. If the other occupants are rowdy the host will tell them to be quiet.

The room was great, unusual in that it felt luxurious. Those coffee bags were great, nothing like that in England. I have told everybody about them! It was central and value for money in comparison to what I have paid before and not been as happy with.

Fantastic location just round the corner from Centraal Station, was easy to find - its basically above the Resin coffeeshop.
