  The hotel was a block from the Rijksmuseum -- the breakfast room looked across the street to the back archway. We were two blocks from the Van Gogh Museum, and on the tram and bus lines that led everywhere. We were able to take a BUS to and from the airport by walking a few steps. All the staff where great and I have never had a room in any hotel of any level where the maid folded clothes, put them away, put the cap back on my razor etc - The facilities provided were excellent. The hotel was close to the Venue RAI Conference centre. The staff were friendly and helpful.

  We booked late at 11pm and checked in half an hour later and it wasn't a problem. Rooms are large and even though the bathrooms are shared they are very clean. There is also a high quality Turkish restaurant in the house where we were offered some tasters.   The owner/staff were fantastic - friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable. The single rooms were on the small side, as it is an old family house but that added to the character. It felt like being a house, rather than a hotel, guest. There were great extra touches like fresh flowers everywhere and a newspaper at breakfast.   We had a great stay at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - a good selection of different breads, cheeses and meat aswell as cereal, fruit and yoghurt.
