  Loved the place! What's not to like? Don't understand the negative reviews. It is right on the canal, the view from my 2-d floor room was fantastic. It took me a little bit over an hour to get to the hotel from the airport - so easy to get to and to find. Tram #4 stops right on the bridge in front of the hotel and goes to and from the Central Sta... what people say » tion - and there is a train that connects it with the airport. The room is very basic, but enough for a quick tour of the city (I stayed less than 24 - The host was great, he helped us with our bags and was really friendly. We actually had some changes to our room arrangements but we managed to come to an agreement regarding the payment so we appreciated the flexibility. Breakfast was normal, we didn't try everything though, but it was good enough for us. We got a room for 4 and it was spacious with wide windows which created a nice effect when the sun comes in during the day. We had a view of one of the canals which was lovely. The beds were

Stair - One of the best locations being close to Central Station, Dam Square is 2 minute walk, all kinds of shops, restaurants, Anne Frank house and grocery store nearby. In room showers are very nice, Mark who manages the hotel is very nice, helpful and polite. Jasmine who is works in the wait staff is very nice, friendly and also well informed about the area. Would stay here again.

  The location of the hotel was really close to all the hotspots within Amsterdam! The breakfast was simple but it was great for the money and it filled you up and got you going for the rest of the day. The toilets and shower were clean the majority of the time minus a few when it had just been used! And the beds were very comfy. In my opinion for the money it was a great place to stay when visiting Amsterdam! - Staff were always friendly and happy to help with anything. Wifi was available in the room and the breakfast was always good. The room and all the toilets and showers were extremely clean. I was a little worried about shared showers but caused no issues at all. This couldn't be better located, 5 mins from central station, shop right outside, restaurants close by and bike rentals available right outside. 10 out of 10

  The staff were very warm and welcoming. Within 15 minutes we felt like regulars at the pub. The location was excellent, very convenient. And it was much quieter than we were expecting. - Great location and a great staff-- people were very helpful andfriendly.

  Everything! It was within walking distance of everything pretty much, it was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, breakfast hit the spot. Seriously well priced for all that. I would definitely stay there again. - Breakfast was plentiful. No rushing you out. Very helpful staff. Noproblems.   Really great value, especially with breakfast included. Our room was quite small but was really nicely furnished, felt comfortable and was clean.   Good size rooms, towels included, The bathroom was good lots of room good shower, pressure was good some places have shocking showers but this one was good. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (I was having back spasms and they really took care of me.)   it was simple and clean, everything we wanted and literally next door to pink floyd and popeye so great location, ill be going back in march, great place - Its location, near Amsterdam Centraal railway station, was a plus. The room was small but adequate.
