A gem of a hotel. Walking distance from Central Station making the tripto and from the airport quick and cheap! The room was clean, the bedcomfortable and the bathroom recently renovated. There was even a tub inthe bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was internet usein the lobby free of charge. The breakfast that was included with theprice of our room was good,. Very clean room! And very good bed! It's really next to the Central Station (and then of course next to all the bars and restaurants of Amsterdam!). all reviews »
location. Staff is very friendly and hotel's location is awesome. The train station can be seen from hotel and it would not take 5mins to walk to Red Light Distinct.Staff were very helpful and location was perfect. Easy to find. My partof hotel not served by elevator; other part is served by elevator.staff turned off the heat when cleaning the room so that the room was cold when we returned in late afternoon (outdoor temp 2 C). The stairs where very steep and breakfast did not start early enough. Very over-priced (maybe because it was the Easter weekend?) 2 of 3 beds in triple room were v. narrow, wardrobe difficult to get at, no drawers in room, louvred swing doors to shower toilet room allow no privacy!. The hotel equipment nead change. The room was dark and very small room. Room was noisy at night and early morning from trams and traffic. No choice at breakfast and quite poor what was on offer. the room i stayed in was the attic ! though i have asked to change the room, it did not happaned. i paied standard price to get a very chip room ! noisy and uncomfortable !.
