Loved how the staff weren't intrusive but were kind and efficient in their service. We had our airline tickets printed - as offered by the front office, free of charge. The cookware and utensils were sufficient, making it feel like home. Check in and check out was quick and fast. I loved Somerset Ampang, my apartment was very spacious, modern and clean. The staff are very friendly and courteous and the facilities superb. I used the rooftop pool and gym every day which was great to wake up in the morning or refresh after a hard day's work. The location is also very good in the embassy quarter and near to Ampang Park metro station. KLCC is also walking distance so was perfect for the convention centre. We were on holiday with my sister and both rooms were upgraded from doubles to deluxe suites with fantastic views and super-fast wi-if. Big Hotel, 27 floors with 4 lifts.
Excellent fully equiped gym of 3 Treadmills, 2 crosstrainers 3 bikes and full set of dumbells along with various specific bodypart exercise equipment.
Nice pool but bit small to seriously swim.
Rooms are great, big size with large windows, Stayed 814 then shifted to 1203 which was suite upgrde with seperate King bedroom off sitting room. All 4 star fittings and facilities.

The staff was gracious enough to call me n inform me that my room rates
will be reduced because of charging error. They could have just made me
pay the inflated rate but they were so honest and nice to revert my rate
to the lower one. For that I am ever so grateful.. I will surely stay

city (I.E. klcc). You could easily walk to the station from the hotel.
However, not with your heavy luggage. We had a nice suite with two rooms

Rooms are really spacious. The twin room is actually room with 2 queen-size beds, so it easily accommodated 2 adults with 2 kids. The pool is very nice, with a smaller pool for kids. Hotel is 10 minutes walk from KL Sentral, and on the way you can see an oldtown coffee restaurant. Hotel provided free shuttle to KLCC, but not too many. When I asked the customer service, it says there is no need to book the shuttle, and the rule is early arrival early served, but when I arrived 10 minutes earlier

The compound is relatively new, very clean, the apartments are spacious and the swimming pools and other recreation facilities are fantastic. Supermarkets and restaurants and other activities are withing walking distance. -
