Compared to other Five star hotels in Tokyo that I have stayed in, Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo is the best so far. It has a wonderful and convenient location, a luxurious and comfortable room. The service levels were the best, every staff catered to my every problem, they even accompanied me to the train station to help me out.
I would recommend this hotel to any traveler visiting Tokyo!

We were highly impressed and enjoyed every moment of our stay.
Lovely efficient staff, gorgeous huge stylish rooms, extremely comfortable beds and linen.

This hotel is the second best I have ever stayed at, only being surpassed by the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The staff were fantastic, I have never been served by more attentive staff at any hotel. The room was fabulous, we were given one on the top floor with an awesome view, the amenities in the room, everything was spotless and clean. Easy transfer from the airport by airport bus limousine.
Staff extremely friendly, courteous and helpful.
Room size was large by Tokyo standards and the bathroom was lovely.

Overall nice hotel. But a few points stood out. The Japanese staff were unfailingly polite and obliging. But my check-in was marred by a short Caucasian male concierge staff who cut the queue with another customer without apology. While the local staff were polite they did not hand over enough information such that I repeated myself three times about my Michel Troisgros booking. Access to pool and gym should not be restricted to Passport members but all guests!

I liked that they made up for the lack of wi-fi by making available a wireless router to use w/ the plug-in internet connection. We stayed at the Hilton Tokyo Bay in late Oct 2013, and glad we did. It was a nice to end a trip where our accommodation was superb.
We stayed in the 'celebrio' room which was perfect for 2 people, the hotel itself is situated in the Tokyo Disneyland Resort and offers a shuttle to and from the theme parks' station. Even though, it's about 20-25minute train ride from tokyo cbd, because of the amount of trains available, travelling outside of the area is no problem. FYI the monorial for the tokyo

- very conveniently located just opposite to the Monorail Bay Station..can easily walk over ..otherwise they also have shuttle service to the station every 5 mins
- Airport shuttle has a stop just at the hotel, very convenient!
