  Great beds, after sleeping on futons on tatami mats a real bed was needed. Staff were very helpful and responsive to any of you requests. Large room by japanese standards, medium by USA standards . Will definitely stay here again. Ranked #1 for the last 7 years by S &P. well deserved. Breakfast appealed to western and Japanese palates. - We liked eveything. The location was excellent yet it was quiet. The room was quiet with good blockout curtains, and was fresh and new. WiFi worked well and was free. The breakfast was fine and the staff gave good advice when asked. The self- washing laundry was a bonus and worked well. Security was probably unnecessary but felt good and was not intrusive. We can't wait to stay here again and recommend it to others.

  very good location for shopping - The staff were really polite here. The price is good for Tokyo and it's only about a 10 minute walk from Ikebukuro Station which is nice. The rooms are on the smaller side but they're pretty standard for Tokyo.

  This was my first visit to Tokyo and I stayed in a twin room on 12th floor with my son who is 22. The staff were wonderful. The rooms were basic, good shower and Japanese bath. We had everything we needed as we were out all the time - walked to Shinjuku station through the park every morning on our way to our daily adventures. We used the brea... what people say » kfast every day as it was excellent value for money. - the location is good, there is a free shuttle bus with specific timing from the hotel to shinjuku station. If you miss it you still can walk there in 10 mins. The counter staff there is friendly, especially the slightly board shoulder guy, speaks perfect American English and he is very helpful and sincere in answering all our questions. We are very thankful for that.

There were also sever - The hotel had a perfect location, nice amenities and very nice, friendly and helpful staff. The connection to all sights in Tokyo is brilliant because the Metro is just 2 min. by foot. Breakfast was included, which made it very convenient in the mornings. We were allowed to store our luggage on the last day after the check-out. Very nice stay!

Rooms are small but very clean and the bathroom is nicer than in some higher star hotels! They have a lot of vending machines for drinks and a coin loundry. Although situated naxt to a big street we had no problems with noise at night. - The room interior design is minimalism and bold. The toilet has sliding door so you can leave it open if you travel alone. That helps make the room feel more spacious. Close to Ueno train station which is connected to a maze of shops and restaurant underground. I found a good restaurant that served fresh and delicious but cheap sushi and sashimi there.
