  The staff were friendly and helped make bookings at local places. The hostel always has a clean smell about it. The rooms have AC and are well sun blocked. The location is very convenient as it located literally next to two subway stations. As you walk out the front door, there is a restaurant with high quality food, a 7/11 where you can use the A... what people say » TM or purchase quick snacks and there is even a local temple. All of these came in handy for a satisfying experience. Very close to Asakusa, which mea - Everything! The location is fantastic - right next to big sights (e.g. Senso-ji temple and Skytree), but far enough out to not be loud. The staff are really welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The hostel itself is superb and incomparable to most European ones I've stayed in both in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Plus, there's a free food and drink night every Wednesday, which is a fantastic way to meet new people!

  This was the second time I chose this hotel. I couldn't find any other hotel that can fit my requirements. The hotel is within a walking distant to a JR station (Ueno), making it really easy to navigate around Tokyo. The JR Ueno Station has adequate escalators and elevators for heavy luggage. The hotel also is just 200m away from a subway station... what people say » (use this subway station if you want to go to the Sky Tree). There are a lot of convenience stores around the hotel. This hotel also gives free wifi - Oak hotel is the best hotel in Tokyo if you do not want to pay much money but have a nice room to stay in. Compared to other hotels, this one is the cheapest and gives the best service. When we got into the room it was heated for us because it was very cold that day.   We arrived earlier than the check-in time so we dropped our luggage off at the front desk. When we got back to properly check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that our luggage had already been sent to our room without any hassle.
