The staff was very helpfull and kind. We chose this hotel in the list of letsbookhotel.com because it was the first time we were going to visit Japan and the localization seemed to be easy for us to go around and the Limousine bus could leave us at the hotel. Really, we couldn't have chosen a better hotel! I'll will recomend to all my friends and relatives! We stayed there only 6 days and are dreaming about visiting Japan again and Akasaka Excell Hotel Tokyu will be our choice in Tokyo!.
all reviews » Fantastic location, literally across the street from the subway station. As it is common in big cities in Japan, there is a mini shopping arcade in connection to the subway station, where emergency shopping can be made :) Otherwise there is a "BIG CAMERA" store close-by, in case you dont have the time and energy to go to Akihabara. The location is unbeatable if you are looking to get around town in Tokyo. The train station is directly across the street. The room was clean and very cute. There is also a 7 eleven convenience store downstairs for water or snacks and there is a coffee shop down stairs for a cup of morning brew. Excellent location immediately opposite Underground station and with coach transfer to airport direct from hotel Rooms larger than many in Tokyo and well appointed Staff very helpful Local cafes and patisseries for breakfast-convenience store on site. Efforts to conserve, option not to have bed sheets changed daily. Also, liked having tooth brush and tooth paste and shaver, which made it easier since I typically forget to bring at least one. Internet access was great. The coffee machine in the room the service very close to the akasaka mistuke station, which is well conneceted to the metro system the hotel restaurant for the traditional breakfast. The room was spacious enough considering the location of the hotel in the middle of Tokyo. Staff was very helpful and friendly. 1 minute walk to the metro station. I needed laundry service, but could not make it back on time on a Sunday night. They waited for me. Top courtesy, very helpful. I liked the location, as it is situated on the Ginza line metro station. Free water and coffe/tea making facilities in the room. Windows aren't really sound proof, so you get some noise in the mornings, if your window is towards the street. But it's not too bad... Bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the room was warm and the air conditioner did not work, and we had to sleep with the windows open. We called the front desk and were told since the majority of other visitors were still using the heaters in their room the air conditioner does not work since they have a central system. Large hotel- a little impersonal. Nothing was bad. Rooms could have been a little bigger but that is typical and not an issue. The district is a litlle bit quite at night compare to shinjuku or shibuya. Nothing. Nothing. Unfortunately the hotel does not provide safe deposit boxes in the room. Experienced some noisy momements from tourists, but not serious. We have no complaints. -1st visit, old crushed biscuit on floor near bed (2nd visit, had been vacuumed well) -small rooms (but this is standard for Tokyo). No international tv channels. always the same food in the 10min breakfast. nothing. You might have to request different pillows as the ones provided in the room are more to Japanese than Western taste. Small rooms. Expensive restaurant. rooms a bit tight for 3 people basic kitchen type facilities - toaster, microwave dont exist. Room too small. At time of booking (2+months before stay), I requested non-smoking room. I called the hotel the night before my arrival but was told that non- smoking rooms were not available. I expressed my disappointment and said they could have told me by email or so. At the end, they were able to give me a non-smoking room (though on the lowest floor). I wish there's a safety box in the room. Room size small on sixth floor. Room very small. no leasure facilities, expensie breakfast. Small room, but generally ok. You have to pay to watch tv channels. Booking was confirmed for a triple room, 3rd person to sleep on a sofa bed. Staff would not give a sofa bed so I had to share a hard, single bed with one of my teenagers for the 4 nights we were there. it is very difficulties to take the train with the buggages becasue of no elevator. we have had booking the twince room with sofa bad but we just sent them the adult name. Finally, when we arrived at hotel,they just gave us the twince room because of one adult name in the booking form. we need to pay more for the sofa bad. I think it is unfaire and ingorance. If one person stay at hotel. it doesn't need booking beds for three persons. It is a bad experience for our family. Rooms too small for family with children. Their twin rooms should be maximum of 3 pax or 2 adults + 1 child. Poor facilities for a city hotel. No hint of quality - a functional business hotel only. 10 minute breakfast was a total farce and really not worth getting. The toilet bowl smells badly. Need to replace. Extremely small rooms. Included breakfast was abysmal (very restricted choice compared with the breakfast available to those who didn't include it in their rate). breakfast is the worst I have had !!!.
