  I like the city view. My room is on the higher floor. The night view is gorgeous. And breakfast is included in the price. The staff and service and the Japanese garden are excellent. The room and bathroom are big and clean. Though the location is not that near to JR Mejiro station, and very often we have to take taxi to and from the Mejiro sta... what people say » tion, but given the other merits it can offer, it is acceptable. The Mejiro area is a very nice and peaceful area. Actually we can also use the Edo - A very nice hotel, located in a quiet upscale residential area. Classic grand-hotel style, with excellent service and big comfortable rooms with fantastic view towards the city or onto the beautiful Japanese gardens. We enjoyed the pool, gym, spa and the hot spring bath.

Don't be fooled by the Higashi Shinjuku subway station next door as its great for a few lines (and when you have your bags) but this hotel is only a 10 min walk from the main Shinjuku area so there is no need to mess around changing trains from Higashi. Metro Station directly next to the hotel. The rooms are very clean, the bed is comfortable and big enough for 1 person (140 cm). Tip: If you are a non-smoker reservate a deluxe non-smoking room. It costs only a few Euro more but the only way to make sure to get a non-smoking room. These rooms are also located on the 11th floor
