If anything was needed, for example my bathroom light burned out, they fixed it immediately. Many of the staff spoke English. For the price this is an excellent value. - This was my second time staying in Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro, but my first time staying in the dorm. It's a great hotel, very clean, free wifi and they have converters at the front desk for your electronics.   The location is very good. Ikebukuro is a busy scene. But Kimi Ryokan you cant hear it. If you use the map on the homepage, you can find it in about 10 minutes. The Staff was very friendly and spoke very good english. Altough you cant cook your own meal, there is a microwave, a little oven and a fridge. The room is comfortable and the air conditioning really does work (had issues in the past with this). I definitely enjoyed my stay there and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The location is within walking distance from Metro Train exit (further away from the main Ikebukuro station) which is in front of Excelsior Cafe. I also enjoyed that, while the hotel was somewhat remote, it was only a short walk from the bustling city and the train station - allowing us to travel and shop and explore very easily.
