Excellent location. Only 2 minutes walk to the Yamanote line station, and from there you can reach all the best parts of Tokyo in 10–30 minutes time. I had ordered something online as asked the staff to notify me when they arrived and they did so without any questions asked.
The other thing I liked was that there was no curfew, I was still able to get back into my room even at 3:00am

Good Location, But Ikkebukuro station with North Exit does not have lift or elevator that made me hard to drag the suitcase. But hotel is very good, clean

The location is good very near to the JR Ikebukuro station west exit. There are many cheap resturants near by so it is easy to find place to eat if you want to save money.

This was my second time staying in Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro, but my first time staying in the dorm. It's a great hotel, very clean, free wifi and they have converters at the front desk for your electronics. It's really close to Ikebukuro station and there's a lot of good restaurants around and staff available 24 hours a day.

I enjoyed how quaint and cozy the room was, and how friendly and helpful the staff was whenever we needed something. They allowed my friend and I to do our laundry within the hotel, because there were no places close by that would allow us to do so. It was very kind of them to allow us that luxury. I also enjoyed that, while the hotel was somewhat remote, it was only a short walk from the bustling city and the train station - allowing us to travel and shop and explore very easily.
