Near to the Shin-okubo station, with many food places near the station. Shinjuku is about 10 to 15 minutes walk away if you do not want to spend money on the train for distance of 1 station.
Staff was very helpful and can speak English well. Helped us book our highway bus to and from Shinjuku for our trip to Kawaguchiko.

Excellent staff, very kind and helpful. I came early and left my luggage, when I came back to check in a couple of hours later, they carried all my luggage into my room already, even my yogurt was put in the fridge (I gave it to them separately).
Facilities are new. Bathroom is HUGE. Beds are comfortable.

I think the location is wonderful, it is colourful with plenty to do,
see and eat. Yes it is in a red light district but the Japanese touts
seem to ignore the non-Japanese people so you don't get hassled
however there seems to be a bunch of Jamaican guys passing themselves
off as Americans that will approach single males walking around (me)

The reviews said the room was small. I beg to differ. It was bigger than I expected. The room is divided into 3 parts. Living room, bedroom and toilet. The bedroom is small but big enough to spread out the mattress (enough to fit a king size). Then the living room is big enough to sit and even open up the luggage. Toilet is divided into wet and dry area. The toilet area is spacious. Bathing area is not too bad. A mini bathtub and a standing area.
