The appart has a very good situation, very near the Place San Marco & the Rialto Bridge. But what we like the most in Venezia, is our contact Sébastian, such a lovely man. During a 4 days stay, we had all the bad things happening...but Sébastian always found a solution for us. Sébastian, you can spend nice hollidays after our departure, we didn't miss our train this time, we are now arriving in France, we'll not disturb you anymore...until next year or in 2 years. You chose an apartment, you notify them of your arrival by email, arrange a meeting point, the representative meets up with you (handy to have a phone with you just in case) he (in this case a born-and-bred Venetian) meets you right on time, walks you down several narrow streets, gives you good info on the way, takes you to your room, does the paperwork and payment process, tells you about the room, and then he leaves. You get a great comfortable apartmen. We were met by Maura. She took us to the apartment which we would not definitely find with instructions only. She was very helpful and friendly. We were supposed to be on the ground floor but for some reason we were given the top floor. The apartment was way beyond We expected. It was a luxury indeed! The view from the apartment was superb.There were two modern toilet with shower which, though there were no toilet rolls, were very clean. There were clean towels, toiletries and hair dryers. In t. As its an apartment and not a hotel, you cannot find it on your own. Luxury apartment make arrangement to send someone (staff) to nearest water bus stop to pick you up and take you to the apartment. As I was new to the place it took me sometime to figure out the place and my phone stopped working but the staff member was kind enough to wait for me at meeting point. Very friendly staffmember, apartment full of facilities and the approach to apartment was not very difficult. We are a family of two adults and two teenagers who stayed in a one bedroom appartment near Rialto bridge and water stop. The location was perfect for quickly finding our way around, as we were staying for two nights. Sebastian was quick to reply to our enquiries prior to arriving, and very helpful in booking us in before time. The apartment was on the third floor no lift, comfortable beds after a day out, and necessary equipment should you want to eat in. Our contact person Sebastien was incredibly helpful. He met us, assisted with luggage, showed us every feature of the apartment and also shared local knowledge on eateries, things to see etc. Location of the apartment is absolutely fabulous; overlooking the canals and gondolas and just around the corner from the St Marks Square! Everything about the apartment exceeded our expectations & we would love to return. Venice is spectacular!. Great location, only 3 - 4 minutes away from Piazza San Marco and a couple of minutes more to the Rialto Bridge. Plenty of places to eat and grocery shops nearby. Rooms at the Castello 2 apartment were clean and comfortable. Apartment had all the facilities we needed - bathroom amenities, a complete set of kitchen utensils, towels, iron and ironing board. It's located on one of venice' tipical small squares with narrow streets leading to it. Staff was very busy, but very friendly. Twice they came to the appartment and asked if we needed an additional mobile airconditioner. The appartment itself was clean, with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Some Furtinure is a little out dated, but the bed and sleeping couch are good. We stayed in the San Marco Three-Bedroom Apartment which is very close to the square in a perfect location. It is on the first floor of a small building without an elevator. The apartment is quite cozy with a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bedrooms plus a living room that has a large sofa-bed. During check-in, Sebastian gave us an orientation about Venice which was very helpful. Well equipped, clean and comfortable appartment, ideal for a family of up to 5 (2 bedrooms plus a double sofa-bed in the living room). The member of staff met us at the arranged time and place to show us to the appartment despite us having to rearrange it on the day due to a 2 hour delay to our flight. He was helpful in answering all our questions about the locality. Mr. Sebastian who help us for check in was of very good nature and gave all the required information for check in and about Venice. Stay at San Marco attic floor was superb. Flat was very well designed and interior was very good. We would nearly like to stay at San Marco luxury apartments in future. He gave us some great tips for sightseeing. The apartment was very clean, lots of space for our family of five. Walking distance to major sights. We would definitely stay here again!. The place was just as good as the pictures looked. No deceiving photography unlike other places we stayed in on this trip. After the problems I had obtaining the keys, a very gentle person gave me indications and suggestions about Venice. Everything was Perfect, the house of Ca D'Oro is very nice, modern, confortable and it has a very good location, close to supermarket, water bus, Italian restaurants even McDonald. We came for Vogalonga, the appartment has ideal location for embarking the kanoes - right at the canal.-. The location was fantastic. We were able to go 'home' for lunch during the day or even a quick coffee, which helped to keep spending down a bit. It could be better if they were more flexible with the check in time or if not have somewhere to deposit our luggage if the apartment was not yet ready. The check out time of 10:30AM is harsh and to top it up there was a rule of keeping the garbage outside apartment before 8AM. Would be great if there was a couch. The coffee machine leaked and the living room was too dark, there should be more light near the dining table. The washing machine was broken but we were staying for 2 nights only so it wasn't an issue for us. Other than that, our stay was perfect. The only negative was that the apartment did not have wifi. However, Sebastian indicated that it will be available in the next month. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that it was the last place we stayed in on our trip and we couldn't stay longer. The process to give keys. I should ask for them before traveling because I didn't receive an e-mail with this information. At the arrival there was a mistake between the managers, so I've waited for 1 hour, trying to call the person with no answer. Finally, I had the person (very kind indeed) in the correct place. However it is my only remark. No paper map of Venice available at the accomodation, otherwise all OK. I found the pictures on the website a bit misleading as our apartment was nice, but quite basic really....not the swish cream leather and beautiful beamed ceilings that you see on the luxury apartments website. It is quite difficult to contact with the staff and the contact number which on the booking sheet is wrong. I think the meeting place is too large and too many people. We cannot find the staff successfully at the meeting time. N.A. The washing machine needed to have the on button held in. We jury rigged the broom and a band-aid and got our washing done so it worked out fine. Need better planning when meeting staff - we were worried, but it worked out. Phone numbers weren't answered. Plan to arrive during business hours to avoid this. It was somewhat difficult to connect with the owners to arrange a meeting place for checking in, but calling letsbookhotel.com got quick results. The apartment was a bit expensive, but than, everything in Venice is!. check-in is a bit cumbersome, you need to make an apointment and be on time (15minute window)! There is no central reception. Bathroom included mushrooms due to a missing tile, not enogh ventilation in the bathroom + humidity. 4th floor, no elevator. Balcony not found. Picture on the site are composed of several apartments, it does not match the one you get (some of the picture may match it). It's not luxurious at all, situated at the 3rd floor. The equipemnt of the kitchen doesn't totally work. We regret that the indications given by the host are not fully reliable. We waited very long for someone to come fetch us at the Ca d' Ore. When we phoned eventually they told us to wait another hour. The lady was actualy there a long time before she identified herself. Maby a sign with the clients name will be helpfull. The door to apartment was a bit tricky to work out but once got it was fine-had no air con the first night (was hot n muggy) but manager org a portable air con that did the job. The bathroom was a little musky smelling and damp but probably not due to lack of cleaning but rather the environment (water canal & sewage possibly interconnecting?). It took a little time to get the hot water working. The internet was also not working immediately, but was fixed soon after we let the staff know. Nothing. It is very important to insist on the host(ess) showing you exactly how the keys work. You need 4 keys to get in. And they break very easily, so if you use the wrong key for a lock, it wil certainly break and they will charge you 30 euros. As it is a building without lift, it is really hard to carry the luggage to the 4th floor. If you are just girls to travel, you need to consider it. Communication with whoever was picking up our email was very poor. Sebastian was a hald-hour late meeting us, and then only we called him. The air conditioner did not work, though I fixed it to the maximum of its ability. There was shoddy workmanship throughout, e g , screws falling out of walls. The recommended route to the airport was problematic and took much longer than anticipated on the bus. nothing I want to complain indeed! perfect stay!. No lift and having to drag suitcase up 6 flights of stairs, but it was worth it. The casino apartment claims to be for four people but it is only suitable for two. The sofabeds for the other two people are extremely uncomfortable even for one night, I ended up with a really bad back pain. Also, the noise from the fridge in the living room makes it impossible to sleep there. So I will recommend this apartment for only two people. Nothing. It was all good.
