The staff was nice. Great breakfast!! Free internet & use of safe. Locations was good but a bit hard to find. I would go back & stay at this hotel.
The room was very small - no counter space for toiletries.
Close proximity to the popular St. Marks Square. Welcoming & informative staff. Great room which was of a generous size.
Looks just like the pictures. Good location nice local restaurants n shops close by, walking distance to everything! 3minute walk to the St Marks Square. Friendly staff willing to help with any enquiries. Good wifi access. Breakfast was very basic. Room was very spacious and clean. Only 2 downfalls was the bed was very springy n not comfortable and that you had to walk up the stairs to get to your room unless you wanted to take the elevator which would fit 1 maybe 2 people n went very slow. Lucky we were fit young couple n didn't mind the stairs as it was much quicker.
The personnel on the reception was very helpfull and the situation is just perfect! I would also recommend this hotel for its quality/price ratio.
location, price, cleanliness, pleasant staff,
slow to replenish breakfast,
The owner was great! and the staff were generally very friendly, housekeeping good, breakfast good - all good!!
Venetian mosquitoes!
Friendly staff and fantastic location
Room was a bit small for a family of 5.
Great location, easy to find, right in the heart of the San Marco action.
I really liked the location, near San Pietro. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff very helpful. Worth the money!
Breakfast was not bad, but could be improved.
We stayed in 2 rooms in the annex building, there was a lovely terrace/balcony. No view but perfect to sit in the sun.
Very small breakfast area, not enough tables.
This was a very interesting hotel with a lot of history in it. Apparently there is a ghost but I wasn't told where. The breakfast was good with an option for cappuccino, hot chocolate or espresso on request. The walls had padded, fabric coverings and carpeted floors. The location was very good, close to St Mark's square. Right in the centre of the shopping district. The decor was very nice.
The beds were lumpy and the shower was small. It was difficult to find the hotel. There was a funky little elevator that was incredibly slow. There was no lounge of any sort. Wi-fi was spotty at best.
The apartment was spacious and clean.
The upstairs was too hot.
Were able to sleep 5 in one room for the night, very affordable, in the heart of the city, and easy enough to get to from the airport via the Alilaguna water service. We did have to haul all our cruise luggage through the streets from the stop, and over 2 canals, but was worth it in the end for the location. The room was comfortable for 1-3 nights I would say (We had all 3 of our boys in the room with us, but everyone had their own bed.) Our own mistake not powering on the air conditioning at first, but once that was rectified, very comfortable indeed. Nice enough and normal European breakfast served in a very small area just outside our room. Great find, especially for the price!
Elevator was super picky, but since we only had one flight, not too big of a nuisance.
We stayed in the ca Fortuny apartment, not the main hotel. The apartment was fantastic, being very spacious and decorated in a lavish Italian style, perfect for getting in the mood for Venice. The furniture, fittings and decorations are top quality. The kitchen is well equipped. The apartment felt like a home rather than a hotel.
The kitchen could do with a few more cups and glasses for younger guests.
Great location to visit main sights also very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel was very comfortable and the owner very helpful. It was convenient to St. Mark's and the Rialto Bridge.
It was a beautiful hotel and exceeded all my expectations. The room was fantastic, comfy and bright with a fairly new bathroom. The service great and breakfast was delivered to my room daily. The hotel is in a central location. I will definitely be back...
No issues experienced on my stay.
The apartment was beautiful with very decorative furniture. Great comfort air conditioning worked , great location.
The 2 flights of stairs, no lift.
Convenience, room, breakfast, Raymundo, service, price
Hot water problem one morning, fixed quickly
We loved the family room that slept five people and the Venician style of the room. The staff were friendly and the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city.
Rooms were nice and fit our family well. We rented the apartment
Once we found the hotel, check-in was fine and staff was helpful. (good pizza recommendation!) The apartment was further than expected (other side of the island), but quiet and convenient to supermarket and restaurants. We struggled with hot water our entire stay, and the air conditioning didn't work the first day, but was fixed the next day. Microwave didn't work.
Loved the position Loved the friendliness Very helpful staff Very friendly reception Very clean and comfortable Close to everything
Very small rooms Very cramped for breakfast Cannot order a cup of tea
Tastefully restored old building done with an eye to detail. Friendly and helpful staff. Spotlessly clean.
Nothing
apartment was very comfortable . great value
Great hotel, perfect location, lovely rooms, helpful and pleasant staff, highly recommended!!
The location of the hotel was perfect, just 5min walk to St Mark's Cathedral, and on a very fancy street with many brands' stores. The staff was very friendly (thanks to Reymond). The hotel by mistake charge our money before we go, but as an apologize they offered us a free champagne and cookies, which we appreciated. The room size was enough for us, and the bathroom was completely renewed. On the breakfast they serve cheese, ham, fruits,.. Was quite nice but we adored the pie with spinach. For its location, the hotel's price was perfect, and the quality was very good, we would definetly stay there again.
Nothing, all was fine.
Very friendly staff who made our stay feel genuinely like a home from home. The location is amazing - next door to a lovely little cafe bar, 10 minutes walk from San Marco and down a quaint little side street near to the major designer clothes shops (if thats your gig). For opera-lovers, La Fenice is just around the corner and the nearest Vaporetto stop is a couple of hundred yards away. We will definitely stay here next time we visit!
The bathroom door lock didn't work but, seriously, who cares?!
Great location in the heart of Venice and nice breakfast.
Staff were helpful with directions. Breakfast was ample and well prepared. Close to San Marco Square and vaparetto stop, #1 line.
Hotel Torino is well maintained but the facilities just looked a little aged.
Reception was extremely polite and helpful. The location is perfect and the wifi was very adequate.
The bed was not very comfortable....the mattress seemed a bit thin. The stains on the carpet in the hallway was a bit off-putting as well.
The Location of Hotel is very good. Just 10 mins walk to St. Marks square. The connectivity is also very good . The reception staff was very soft spoken and friendly. Breakfast was decent and other staff at hotel was also helpful.
The airconditioner in room did not work good. You could leave it on for whole day just to find the room at same temperature after coming back. The room was quite small and baby bed did not fir properly.
Staff friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Location was very close to all major tourist sites.
As all people say, Venice is overpriced. We could not afford to stay on. It was difficult to locate the hotel, blink and you would have passed the front door [as we did].
we stayed at the annex of the hotel and it was ok.it was very very clean. the breakfast was fine, there was nothing to complain about.the location was good, just 5 minutes to Piazza San Marco
the receptionist( the younger one) was not friendly at all, when we asked him an adress he told us that he was busy at that moment.
good ubication
too small, but it is normal in italy.
When I kindly asked the reception staff why our room's wifi did not work I got the reply "mine does work!!!"
Great Location! Very close to Piazza San Marco. Good Breakfast.
It was very difficult to find the exact location of the hotel. There was only a small door with the sign " Hotel Torino". Our room had 3 single beds. They were very small and not confortable. Although the double bed was very nice.
Very nice hotel!
There was no attention to my birthday, it's a pity...
Location is the best!
Breakfast place is too tight and very poor! Check out 11 am!!! Bed is not clean, but bath is acceptable!
