What people say
This hotel is in a fantastic location in the heart of Venice, above the Tod's store.
For those who love to shop or window shop its a great location near all the designer stores, and very close to St Mark's Square and the Accademia.
For those who prefer to see more of the city its still a fantastic location for restaurants, a walk along the waterfront (down to Giardini where the Biennale is held), Rialto Bridge or take a ferry to Murano, Burano or Lido.
We received a warm welcome and were ve. all reviews »
The location is amazing and all seights are within a short walking
distance. This is a family run, apartment kind of hotel with no
reception. You ring the bell and sign in in the upper communal area. Our
friends stayed in a three star hotel down the road and we were not
allowed in to have some rest with them but instead was treated like
animals. This one didnt mind and everyone was allowed to join the
communal area. We were even allowed to stay longer when we runned late
for the check out witho.
The location is great! If you take the water taxi from the airport and
follow the directions to Hotel Torino where you have to check in, you
are amazed by all the fancy shops: Prada, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, etc.
It's less than a 5 min walk to San Marco piazza which is beautiful
at night with less tourists wandering. Campo de Stefano is not far
either where there's a variety of dining options and the best
gelato! The room is cozy, clean, and hot water is great! Great price for
its location!.
The hotel location could not be better for the price. We were less than 5 minutes from St. Mark's Square and even closer to 2 vaporetto stops - Giglio and Valleresso. Hotel staff was excellent greeting us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco! He spoke perfect English and gave us maps with restaurant recommendations and major sites. This location is also very close to Musica a Palazzo and Interpreti Veneziani. We would stay here again!!.
First, it is a location. Just perfect. It is 5 minutes, or if it is a rainy day 3 minutes )) to San Marco square. The coffee-mashine with coffee capsules as a compliment and mineral water, secondary. Oh, one more: the feeling that you're actually living in a house 500 years old. In addition it is quiet at night and you have birds singing around 5. NICE in VENICE.
Stayed at Ca'Pedrocchi for three nights and enjoyed the stay. Staff were really nice and helpful with any questions we ever had. When we first arrived they showed us some good restaurants and things we might like to do on a map which helped out and we were thankful for the suggestions! Would definitely stay here again if we return to Venice.
The hotel was situated very close to Piazza San Marco and the water bus stops. It is small and very comfortable for the price. The room and bathroom was very clean and had lovely cotton sheets and towels. I would recommend this hotel highly. We only required the room for 2 nights and this was ideal for us.
This hotel has character and we loved it. The Manger was very helpful with maps and information concerning places to visit. Our room was the smallest but as we did not spend much time in the room it was not a problem, it was very clean and tidy, and right in the centre of the city but not noisy.
Alvise, the hotel owner was extremely helpful, arranging transportation, tours, etc. It is a very small hotel with only a few rooms, so the personal attention was wonderful. The location was very convenient, only a few minutes from San Marco Square.
Location was excellent right in one of the busy shopping areas. Only a few minutes walk from piazza San Marco. The staff were very friendly and helpful and although the rooms are not part of the main hotel my bags were carried up for me by the porter.
can not beat the safe, and secure location - right next to the Gucci store, and above the Tod's of London store. Good security on the main door. Clean rooms, pleasant decorating, informative & responsive staff.
Super location, nice bed, plenty of hot water. We had room 34 on the street. View of San Marco tower, if you peeked up the street. The street noise could be closed off with the windows, but did not have to.
- Location
- comfortable and clean rooms
- very polite staff
- good value for money
- it's not a problem to check in and out in another hotel, cause it's very close to Ca' Pedrocchi.
Extremely friendly stuff. Great location - walking distance to all interesting places in Venice. Very clean, simply decorated cozy room. Near a main street yet quiet. Free WiFi.
Excellent location: 3 minutes walking from San Marco but still very quiet, with good connections to everywhere.
Manager, Alvisa, was terrific. Location was great. Good "slice of life" opportunities at B&B-type lodgings.
Location was great. As all Venice Hotels, took a little time to find. Great managers.
Good Value for Venice.

It is a small place with all the things you need..good service, location and very clean.
Extremely friendly and helpfull. Central location. Unbeatable price for Venice.
The staff was very nice and helpful and the location was very comfortable.
Five mins walk from Piazza S. Marco. Room clean & comfortable.

Great location and a nice clean room.
Location and comfort of the bedroom.
Excelent location and fair price.
Very polite very helpful staff.
Location, location, location.
location
privacy
economical.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Close to St Marks Square.
Staff was excellent.
The location is perfect. The room dimensions are ok and the hotel is appropriate if you are interested in having a good bed, air conditioned and a good shower. They do not offer breakfast but if you are looking for a point just to recharge your energy with a shower and a bed to resume your visit in the next day to the main attractions of Veneza, you are in a fair place.
I liked the very good location right in the heart of Venice. I liked the
price - the center of Venice is expensive, but this is affordable. I
liked the free coffee in the room and the small fridge.
good clean and traditional accommodation which offered a good central location combined with a reasonable price
tea and coffee making facilities although no breakfast in the deal.
It had a convenient location. The room was clean.
Location, good bathroom.
location was great.
We were very happy with the hotel.
For those with lots of bags there is no lift and the hotel is on the 3rd floor. But the rooms are great and well priced so its worth it.
I felt this wasn't value for money as our friends were able to get
better rooms in terms of comfort and ambience (but bad service to be
honest) for this money in same location. However those hotels were
shocking in terms of how they treated our friends that were booked in
(Comfort Hotel Diana) literally like animals with their italian
temper. So in comparison to that we were treated like humans and with
charm in this one.
Without elevator, but who does care?
The furniture is old, but it is a concept of the hotel. You might see a sculpture from 15th centure just near your door. At list, as I said in pluses - you have got a feeling that you are in Venice.
No issues.
The hotel does not have an elevator and rooms are on floors 2-4. Accommodations are very old and although updated somewhat, not what I would call a 3 star hotel. It is difficult to find because the door to enter is on a small street, alley. There is no lobby and no visible sign.
there appeared to be an elevator or something churning in the night but I ran the air conditioning for the white noise and it was fine. Perhaps it was just my room location.
No elevator. Slow WiFi, though slow is much better then non.
Not as modern as other hotels we stayed at in Italy, but that was part of the charm.
Stairs. a little dated.
A bit small.
A little small especially the bathroom.
The fact that we were on the third floor without lift..but this is Venice.
Not the best 'aired' room. Slept with open window and that did the job.
It didn't bother us but would not recommend to people who have difficulty climbing stairs as there is no lift in the building.
No remaks.
the pictures on the internet bare little relation to the hotel itself
certainly there is no façade that we saw that was vaguely like the one in the picture.
The hot water boiler broke down for a day and half so no hot shower.
Front door was hard to find, it was down a small alley.
I think the place need some general renovation, as everything is too aged.
Walking up the stairs.
not a good time of year to visit Venice!!.
Not very easy to find.
Should be included the breakfast.
Rooms are separated from main reception (which is managed by Hotel Torino).
Very difficult to finds - exactly at the corner store bvulgari!.
no amenities.
Very difficult to find. Signposting very poor.
Very hard to find and the water-taxi folk don't know where it is. Bed was a little old and could feel the springs.
The stairs, and absence of elevators and lack of signs informing where the hotel is are kind of inconvenients. I asked for some people in the streets when I arrived and they did not know the hotel (One of the gondolas owner helped me calling to the hotel and asking for the directions). If you arrive in Veneza at night You will probably have difficulties to find it).
The aircon did not work, allthough it made noise.
venice is notorious for being difficult to find your way around and it was difficult to find the check in point which was different to the accommodation -
also at the accommodation there was no lift - very important if you have luggage or if you are elderly.
The room was very dark, window looked out on a brick wall. No lobby and
no visible staff. No breakfast and coffee maker in room produced only
luke warm water. Rooms are 3 flights of stairs up. When we arrived, the
manager tried to sell us tickets to a show, we ran in to it on our own
and tickets were 20 e less than he had asked for them. I would never
stay there again.
Very dark room ( number - 15 ) , stuffy and uncomfortable, only 2 capsules for a coffee. Hard to find. morning screaming gulls. We didn't find Venician style.. Not for this money ( 100€ per night).
difficult to find
no breakfast included.
