Eduardo the owner is tremendously friendly and helpful. They've recently added an elevator to the building, but he still met me downstairs to help me with my bags upon arrival, and helped me again at check-out. A great place, convenient location, good breakfast, and tremendous staff. The hotel was centrally located with easy access to all points of interest in Rome. It was a 10 minute walk to Termini train station. Lift will be installed very shortly. Highly recommend, Eduardo the owner was great!. all reviews »
Good value budget hotel- my single was clean and comfortable- The location is central with excellent transport facilities on the doorstep- The manager Eduardo is very helpfull. location- near termini, close to all tourist attractions, safe area.All was pleasant. I think to return in this hotel. Staff was great, very helpful.Nice clean room. Kitchen. Everything was great.My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at Nazional Rooms. Eduardo, the owner, was incredibly helpful - from recommending excellent places to eat to answering general transportation questions. The location is superb is you are traveling to or from Roma Termini (train station). Great value for the price. Would definitely consider staying at Nazional Rooms next time I visit Rome. Great value and great location... And since I stayed there previously(last October) there has been a lift installed so no more slog up thestairs to the third floor with heavy luggage!. The rooms were a bit small, but they were clean and comfortable. Also, free Wi-Fi was a plus! Location was good. It was a 20 minute walk from the Forum. The tiling in the passageway made it very noisy when guests came in and out and acted as an echo chamber. They should put carpet down in the passage.A bit cold room (in january) and the breakfast (at restaurant in the same block) was absolutely minimal. Be prepared, the shower is tiny. We had a difficult time moving around and the hot water last approximately 2 minutes and it took awhile to get warm. You could hear noise in the hall since the walls were thin, which was a bit disruptive.rooom was very small. you have to be very fit, it s quite a climb.It might be somewhat difficult for the visitor to find the hotel entrance due to its smallness. But if you look around carefully, you can find the sign across the street. I also felt difficulty in treating the key. (e.g. sometimes I could not pull it out from the key hall at the hotel entrance). The hotel entrance was in an obscure hallway off the street that you may miss if you are not watching closely-- keep an eye out for the wigs! Like everyone else's review a major bad point is the lack of an elevator when the rooms are on the 5th floor. Ship this hotel if you have physical impairments. That said, the manager was great and helped us with our bags. Also the room was noisy since it was on a busy street and the breakfast was very skimpy .Is located on 4-th floor. really ok wow - so value for money at rome - just change the key.. too bulky for a tourist when travelling around. There was no elevator and the rooms were on 4th floor. I am not sure if there is going to be an elevator in the future, but it would be nice to have. Stairs!!!!. The breakfast wasn't good, only toast and juice. The elevator was very small. Shower never got hot. Expect to carry your luggage up four flights of stairs upon check in, however the staff will help you if asked.

Nazional Rooms is 5 minutes walking from Stazione Termini( 200 meters ), few steps from the main bus terminal of urban and extra urban transportation. In "Via Nazionale" you can find banks, restaurants, pubs, night clubs and a lot of shops. The subway station and many bus stops are located at the beginning of "via Nazionale
By Train : At the railway main exit, cross Piazza dei Cinquecento towards Piazza della Repubblica (you'll see a big fountain in the centre of the square) then turn left into Via Nazionale. Keeping the right side after Mel Book Store and Mc Donald's at number 249 of an ancient building you'll find Nazional Rooms. Go on the 4th floor until you see the sign of Nazional Rooms. If you want to get there by bus, lines 64 or 70 are just 2 stops away from the railway station.
By Plane : With a taxi or a train/shuttle (Leonardo Express) up to stazione Termini. Fiumicno and Ciampino airports have fast connections to Termini railway station. One you get the station follow instructions as above.
By Car : A1 highway towards rome. Exit Roma Nord if you come from north Italy and take the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) then exit Salaria and follow the signs for city centre. If you come from south Italy exit Roma Sud and take GRA, then exit Appio S.Giovanni and follow signs to the city centre.
