  What makes Athy special first and foremost is the couple who run this family home. They made us feel very welcome and shared their personal story of their house and its amazing georgian history with us. The house in itself is beautiful and takes one back in time..our master bedroom was incredibly comfortable with lovely bathroom soaps and shampoos... what people say » .. The dinner that's also available on request was very hearty and made with local produce...overall, we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a romant - We stayed at Dollardstown house while on a short break to attend a family wedding close by We had an excellent stay from the moment we arrived with the welcoming scones to the breakfast just before we had to reluctantly leave.The hosts were always attentive to our every need including fresh milk at our bedroom door in the morning. We have no hesitation to recommend Dollardstown House

  We arrived at the hotel at 9:15 am. Thinking we wouldn,t be able to get a room till after midday i asked if we could put our luggage somewhere while we had a look round Leixlip. The young man on reception made a phone call and told us if we would like to wait half an hour there would be a room made ready for us. Great customer service. - I have to admit i stayed here a month ago and gave this place a poor rating due to the fact there were not many about for whatever reason. This time my rating has increased as i saw a totally different approach and this was a big improvement to come back again.

  Beata was so helpful on arrival. Although this is not a hotel, we had everything we needed to hand. We had originally booked room only on-line but we upgraded to B&B on arrival without any hassle and Beata suggested perhaps eating in their restaurant (Chapter 12 next door), which we did. All the staff were great b - When we were registered, we were escorted to our accommodation by a lovely young lady who was extremely friendly, courteous and very helpful indeed. We did not get a chance to have dinner in the restaurant, but we did have breakfast prior to our departure and it absolutely excellent and inexpensive. Our server, as before was extremely efficient and friendly. Overall, we were made welcome from start to finish (not surprising as I wouldn't expect any less from Kildare folk) and we look forward

  Simply superb, could not fault any aspect of our stay. From the staff on reception through to those in the restaurant we found them all to be friendly, helpful and accomodating. A wide selection of delicious food, the fillet steak is a must. The reception staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel more than met my expectations, and everything was of a much higher standard than I expected for the price!   I stayed at Ballydrum with my mum, sister and her four children. The B&B was able to accommodate us all, giving my sister and the children a small apartment attached to the house. It was clean, cosy tidy and friendly. Breakfast had a big choice also and if you wanted more they were so accommodating. We could - This was our favorite B&B on our two week trip. The house is comfortable, and the family could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The extra touch of high tea and scones with the best cream ever really made us happy to arrive. All my friends had the same opinion and the rooms were really very spacious with really comfortable beds. Staff were also friendly and helpful and nothing was any problem for them.   Stayed at Moate house while my children were dancing at a feis in Punchestown event centre. The accomodation is just a short drive to event centre which was ideal. The owner could not do enough for us even looking for an extra tv for my youngest who was ill so that he could play his wii. We were staying in a separate part to the rest of the lodgers. This meant that we had our own private kitchen where we could cook dinner if we wanted. There was also a living area and a huge bedroom with one double, two singles and an ensuite bathroom with a huge shower! It was so lovely to have so much space to ourselves.
