  The hostel lived up to my expectations. The staff is young and friendly. The good points are the location, heating, cleaning and reception 24 hours a day, and also the private car park. - The hostel has good equipment (you can cook whatever you want) Personal is kind and helpful location is also good just 10 minutes to the city centre.

  The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. I telephoned the night before our arrival, explaining that we were on a very early morning flight. I asked if we would be able to drop off our bags at the hotel. The receptionist encouraged us to come straight to the hotel and arranged an early check-in on arrival. Similarly when we left they let us... what people say » check out late at 2.00pm. Very centrally located. - The Best Western was very close to O'Connell Street which is the main street in Dublin. It is a half a block away so it made it easy to find the city bus tours and the tourism office. The beds were very comfortable which was a definite plus. They also have two guest computers that you can you use for free 24 hours a day. They were sometimes busy, but there was always a chance to use them.

  This is the second time I've stayed in the Shelbourne Hotel and will definitely be returning. Stayed with a friend of mine just for a night away to catch up and do some shopping etc. location is absolutely perfect, a short stroll to Grafton Street, and surrounded by great pubs and restaurants. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! Everything in this hotel was as you would expect for a 5* hotel.
