The wonderful customer service- friendly and helpful every step of the way. The delicious traditional breakfasts AND the great location- just a short walk to Corks main shops/pubs and also a great base for any tourists wanting to do day trips to other areas. Lovely old manor house with a very large parking area out front. Were greeted right away by the Lodge's owner who helped us with our luggage. The rooms were beautiful, large and clean overlooking their garden area. Were given really good directions, and a book with hints on what to see in Cork...even given a lift in cause he had an errand to run

The staff is very friendy, and any issue you may have they will try to solve it. The room i was given it was in the ground floor close to the main door, so I ask for another one on the top, and I was changed without problem. As well in the room was a little bit cold and the staff turn on the heater. Also I was offered a tea and cookies when I arrived. The hostal is 10 min walking to san patrick street, when i stayed it was quiet and i had a good rest there, the beds are quite comfortable.

Excellent! friendly attentive staff room was perfect and clean fresh towels daily!They reall work hard to please Tea and cake on arrival a relly nice touch! - We're upgraded from a double room to a very lovely room with sittting area with Big Flat Screen TV and DVD with surround stereo system and a nice kitchen.
