    The reception staff were invariably helpful and polite which in branded hotels may not always be the case, and had good tips on places to visit and directions, the room was very clean, the door held open on arrival with a wedge was a very thoughtful touch, as was leaving the window open so the room was airy on arrival rather than stuffy. Great - Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole experience. We were able to lock our bags up before checking in so we didn't have to drag them around the city. Also, the staff helped us with directions, provided free maps, and recommended places to eat. We felt very welcome! Highly recommended! My favorite part of our stay was our 5 euro bagged lunch, which was a great deal and

    Loved the room. (Room 202). When you went in the room door there was a living room area with 2 arm chairs, coffee table, fire place, TV, and an eating table with 2 chairs. Off that room was a small kitchen - the basics tea/coffee and ample storage. Next room was the bedroom. This was quite big with a very big comfy bed. Then off that was the bathr... what people say » oom. Very bright and clean with a very deep bath. Loads of hot water. I liked the fact the room was very warm as it was -1 outside. I didn't avail o - Excellent value. I was worried about all the reports on noise, but it didn't bother me at all. It is fairly clear that it is going to be noisy anyway. Anyone complaining about this has been warned by other reviews and by the hotel's own website. It is ideal for anyone on a budget. Drinks were 2.50 at the bar and a large selection of meals from 6euro. If you prefer to be part of the party this place is great for you.

    The room was suprisingly large, clean and bright, and it was equipped with lcd TV, powerful hairdyer and tea or coffee making facilities. For those who love tea, it should be added that tea was of really good quality, and it definitely added extra smile on our face! I bet everyone else have already praise - The Waterloo Lodge was ideal for my stay as it was 10 minutes walk to rds and to Marion Square (start location of the Dublin city Marathon). I traveled with my wife and our two kids (3 & 5 years old) and the family room we had was ideal, plenty of space. Staff were very accommodating and breakfast was excellent. All in all, we had a pleasant 3 nights stay in the Waterloo lodge.

    One very extremely important point I'd like to bring to light on behalfof the Grafton Capital Hotel. The location for the price was extremelyideal for me. I was literally in the centre of the city as I had wanted.Also, my request to be placed in a room on a high level to diminish anychance of noise, was honored and I appreciated the staff's attenti... what people say » on todetail on that point. - Proximity to all amenities was the main reason for considering staying there in the first place.     Very spacious and very quiet room. All the staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was terrific. - The staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was very clean. Plenty of towels.

    I stayed on the barge with my two children aged 8 and 12. We used to live in Dublin so wanted something "different" to make it more interesting and the barge was certainly that! Trish and her husband (the owners) had thought of lots of "extras" to make us comfortable and to make life easier for us. I had expected it to feel a bit like camping b... what people say » ut I really couldn't have asked for anything more - I would definitely recommend a stay on the barge and hope to return soon. Whilst we didn't use th - Location was great. Hosts were better than great, such fun to stay on this barge and really comfortable. The canal option was so good and our friends young kid loved watching it all unfold....so did the adults. You want for little staying with Dublin Barge Hire and its right downtown walking distance to Trinity College, all the museums, and the new Rugby/ Soccer stadium. Not to mention just a block from the train station to go out to Howth! Cannot recommend enough, wonderful and fun for both of

    I love you! I loved pretty much everything about Gogartys. The welcome package, the people I met, the location. The kitchen served as a awesome place to chill with other hostel travellers. There was such a vibe in the city, you guys really know what you are doing. The live music, the fantastic pub. I would come back to Gogartys in a heartbeat. I adored the large South African flag on the exterior - stayed here for 2 nights with my grown up children last week, very impressed with cleanliness and location and we were even allowed to check in 5 hours early!     The location was brilliant if you want to party...right in the heart of all the bars and clubs, staff are great, hostel is very clean. I stay here when i'm going to any concerts in Dublin. Don't let the fact that it's a hostel put you off, i always book private ensuite rooms so it's just like staying in a hotel only rooms are very small but if you... what people say » only want somewhere to lay your head then this hostel is ideal! - The Hostel was situated exactly in the happening area. If you have never been to Dublin before like myself. This is one stop place to me. It is in the center of connecting everywhere else. I stayed for 3nights and I enjoyed my stay there. The staff were very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone who has a really tight budget and needs a good space for lay over
