Very spacious and very quiet room. All the staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was terrific. The staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was very clean. The sausages and eggs where dripping in fat! The croissant where soggy! It was very dissapointing!!. Bed too Small for 2 people ---- only 4ft wide !!!. no soap, shower took ages to heat, beds a bit too soft. the shower is very powerful it nearly knocked my wife over. bathroom. The waitress - breakfast - so rude. Cigarette smoke can be a problem if other residents are smokers.The bathroom wasn't very clean. Was told Hotel was 10 mins walk city centre when in fact it was 30mins. Also Parking and one way system. noise from road unable to leave windows open no air condition so rooms very hot. Noise from other guests in particular loud televisions. The hotel advised it was a 15 minute walk to temple bar, this wasactually 25-30 mins.The nightclub next door on a Thursday night. The noise levels were horrendous. No double glazing, sounds of police cars and revellers all night long. Good for insomniacs. A Wi-fi connection would be very interesting. There was quite an extrem odour of mould in the house entrace and corridors. Sometimes you could even smell it in the hotel room. On the weekend at night you hear the music from the disco downstairs and the noise from the people outside. Nobody at reception or in the kitchen at 07:15am. Was unable to check out and did not get breakfast which was paid for in the room price. Very disappointed about this as we had to leave and go and pay for breakfast elsewhere.Our room was on the 1st floor directly above the disco, we couldn't get to sleep until after 4 a.m. The personnel at night wasn't really helpful. If you book a room here, ask for one on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Bathroom needs a makeover (paint and tiles). A mix of fairly friendly and surley staff. For me too far out of dublin- I prefered being near the temple bar. We chose this hotel as it wascloser to the clubs, but they were frankly disapointing too. Stick tothe temple bar if I were you. I did not like the service during breakfast. Waitress was realy unpleasent.Hotel is quite far away from the city.Our room was right over bar and nightclub - did not get any sleep. My parents were booked into the hotel for almost 3 weeks and ended up leaving after 3 days. The staff were rude and indifferent, the room/bed very small and there was no hot water.
