  Helen was absolutely wonderful. She was most helpful and her and her staff were beyond kind. The College Crest House has a true "home" feeling, and you will feel so welcome! The location is also wonderful- right next to the bus station and the city center- a 2 minute walk! Each morning you are asked what you would like for breakfast (a real irish ... what people say » breakfast) and they cook it for you; one of the best parts of being in Ireland! - A beautiful and clean house - the room was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful - apart from a full Irish breakfast freshly made from the kitchen, there was also ample choices of fruit, cereal, juice etc to add to that. The place was also close to the city. So you'd get a b&b experience without having to go far out from the city.

Our room was clean and comfortable with a strong hot shower. Plenty of dry towels were supplied on both nights and we got a breakfast that would keep you going all day.   Great location - on Salthill Promenade and within walking distance of Galway city centre and restaurants. We had a large, comfortable room with stunning views of the ocean. The bathroom no smaller than many of the B&Bs we visited and spotlessly clean. The manager, Owen, works all hours of the day and night and while we were there he did whatev... what people say » er he possibly could to make our stay comfortable. We would return should we find ourselves in the area again. - The White House is located only about a kilometer to the west of the Spanish Arch and so it does not take very long, (it can easily be walked) to get into the restauarants and shops that are are around the area of Quay Street in the town centre, The hotel is like a good standard of B&B although the breakfast is charged seperately but at a very reasonable rate.

  It well decorated and spotless clean. It's not far from Galway centre, it took me only 20 minutes to walk. If you end up taking a cab from eyre square it' costs around 8 euros if you want to compare the the prices with the guesthouses in the town centre. I would recommend this guesthouse to everyone, it's good value, comfortable and very clean. No noisy pubs/bars nearby. 2. Everything is clean and tidy. 3. Very comfortable, elegant rooms. Anything you need, it's there. There's also a nice kitchen in the hall so that you can make tea / coffee whenever you like. 4. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. 5. The salmon and eggs were divine as well. Great choice.

  Accommodation in Galway is generally quite expensive, but St Judes' Lodge was good value for money. The rooms were basic, but immaculately clean and comfortable.   Warm welcome Very clean, quiet (last floor, back of the house), comfortable. Good continental breakfast with extra cheese, ham and tomatoes. Wifi available Car park space in front of the house. Owner extremely helpful and very nice when I needed to park the car an extra day at the B&B. It helped me to relax knowing my car was in a secure place... what people say » . I appreciated this exception made. Thanks to all these above mentionned, we had a pleasant stay in Galway. - The host was really lovely and helpful in advising us where to go and what to do. Galway town is a short walk of about 5 mins. Really pretty town with loads of traditional pubs, great shopping and street music. Our room was really clean and tidy. Very secure and parking was on site. We drove from Dublin and signage to B&B was really easy to navigate.
