Helen was absolutely wonderful. She was most helpful and her and her staff were beyond kind. The College Crest House has a true "home" feeling, and you will feel so welcome! The location is also wonderful- right next to the bus station and the city center- a 2 minute walk! A beautiful and clean house - the room was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful - apart from a full Irish breakfast freshly made from the kitchen, there was also ample choices of fruit, cereal, juice etc to add to that.
The place was also close to the city. So you'd get a b&b experience without having to go far out from the city.
I loved the homey atmosphere, the kindness of the staff, the nearness to
the city amenities and tour busses , the comfort of the beds and room
air was just right and the traditional irish breakfast was served to
your individual preferences every time!! It was perfect in every way!!.
We have been coming to Galway for many years for the Arts Festival. This year was the first time we stayed in College Crest House and we both feel that is the best B&B we have stayed in. Staff we friendly and efficient. Food was great and our room was most attractive.
The breakfast was great, both continental and Irish option, you could
easily skip lunch after that.
Room was big and comfortable, hot shower.
Perfect location in a quiet area just a short stroll from town, easy to find as well.
Walking distance from all the sites we wanted to viist. Staff/owner were wonderful. Called them and they directed us straight to the house! Wonderful room! Great food. Helpful with directions for the rest of our trip,.
We liked location easy access from Dublin and walking distance to bars and shops. It was quiet at night. Very friendly caretaker and staff. Great breakfast whether you want full Irish or cereal and coffee.
College Crest is a good value -- reasonably priced for being a short walk to the city centre, free off-street parking, not anything fancy but not lacking in anything that one would expect in a good B&B.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. It was a great place to stay, a five minute walk from the main street.
When I come back to Galway we will be staying there again.

Close to the city and transport into Galway, great breakfast, staff were superb. Of te 4 places we stayed in Ireland, this was our favorite and we are busget travelers.
