  Helen was absolutely wonderful. She was most helpful and her and her staff were beyond kind. The College Crest House has a true "home" feeling, and you will feel so welcome! The location is also wonderful- right next to the bus station and the city center- a 2 minute walk!   Great location - on Salthill Promenade and within walking distance of Galway city centre and restaurants. We had a large, comfortable room with stunning views of the ocean. The bathroom no smaller than many of the B&Bs we visited and spotlessly clean.   It well decorated and spotless clean. It's not far from Galway centre, it took me only 20 minutes to walk. If you end up taking a cab from eyre square it' costs around 8 euros if you want to compare the the prices with the guesthouses in the town centre.   Accommodation in Galway is generally quite expensive, but St Judes' Lodge was good value for money. The rooms were basic, but immaculately clean and comfortable. Very secure and parking was on site. We drove from Dublin and signage to B&B was really easy to navigate.
