  Easily found at the top of OConnell and a little to the right, right above Fibber McGees. Couldnt have got better location for the money spent. Very clean room, dont be fooled by the old exterior, the rooms are modern, clean, and the breakfast is worth the early wakeup call. No hassle leaving our suitcase after midday checkout so we could get some shopping in before our 4 - I am very happy I stayed at the Gate Hotel, the service is wonderful, the location could not be better, I was treated with attention. It was my first time in Dublin and they explained to me how to reach to places, gave me full guidance and even helped me get the best spots for shopping. There is also an area downstairs that connects with local pubs that is very nice and you can hear live music or chill and have a beer in other pubs without having to move out of the hotel. I fully recommend it;

The location is perfect, close to O'Connell street, walking distance to all the touristy locations. - It's very clean. And it staffs are very nice.   Myself aged 31 and my mother of 65 years of age were looking for somewhere fairly central but away from the noise and that's just what we got! 10 minutes straight forward walk to shopping locations, Temple Bar, Central Bus Station, The LUAS and Connelly Train Station. Also the airport shuttle stops right outside the door at a cost of only 6 Euros... what people say » per person. A perfect budget location close enough to everything and away from the noise of Temple Bar! Staff were even kind enough to let us store o - We found the Ripley excellent. We stayed there initially when we arrived in Dublin, then after touring Ireland for two weeks, we stayed there again before leaving for Wales. Would not have done this if we were not happy. Staff very helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with everything on offer, and able to have as much as you wanted, if you needed it. Great location in access to the city.   Lovely old bulding in nice area of Dublin , very friendly and helpful receptionist , our suite on top floor was amazing , we loved four poster bed and wonderful hot tube. There was selection of dvd's to watch , air condition , well equiped kitchen and even sauna in the suite ! Balcony and special room with pc and even printer were there too.   When I had arrived for an over night flight I was feeling awful sick, and was hoping to be able to check in early and go lay down, as my room wasn't ready Mary was kind enough to offer to take my luggage and even gave me some medicine to feel better.   My girlfriend and I stayed here for one month and I'm glad to say it was such an amazing stay. That staff was awesome and have helped us a lot in everything we needed. The wifi connection was perfect (even in the room), the breakfast was very nice, the rooms and beds were clean (the cleaning staff cleans the room everyday), there were a lot of act... what people say » ivities to do (movies night/special dinner/ice cream night/pub crawl) and the most incredible thing is the location. It is awesome - very close to a v - The hostel is easy to get to from Dublin airport. We got there by coach and it took about 40minutes plus 15minutes walking time. Lots of tourist attractions are nearby and the free walking tour each day is a great way to explore and learn the city's history Staff were very friendly and more than happy to help with directions Breakfast is included which was really convenient. You could also cook your own meals in the kitchen

Easy to find, and relatively comfortable. I was worried about security of my things before I got there, but once I arrived I felt it would be okay to leave items in my room and had no problems. Can't ask fora better price. $90USD for 3 nights in the heart of Dublin.
