  The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful, and they make you feel right at home. The facilities were great too (fully-equipped kitchen, hot showers with tub, and free laundry facilities). They briefly explained where to go near the guesthouse and in the city center when I first arrived. They clean the house frequently so it's clean and tidy. They are keen to provide some local tips like music and the local stores. Generally, I think if you travel alone and don't want to cram into a 16-bed dorm, it's a good place to stay with abundant space and good host to talk with.   The reception had been really nice and helpful. He recommended a transitional Icelandic restaurant to me and helped me booking tours and offered tourism advices. I love the kitchen, it's cozy, clean and open for 24 hours. If I ever go to Iceland, I will stay there again. It is such a nice and warm hostel and it is highly recommended. - It was so clean, and you didn't check in, you got an email telling you how to get into the hostel / your room. I arrived at 2 am and went right in and went to sleep. It is nicely decorated and so many things to read to show you what to do. The owner called a bus for me to get me back to the airport and I saw her eating lunch with some guests - she is very nice. I felt very safe.
