  All of the reception personnel were extremely gracious and helpful. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. They answered questions, confirmed tours, made phone calls to check on things in other towns, made great suggestions about places to eat and buy things, and gave directions to get around.   Staff was really nice and helpful, the room was warm and clean. The hotel is located 2min from the main street and 10min from the center (by walking) and really cheaper than other center hotels. - The staff are incredibly helpful, especially with organising bus transfers, trips and taxi's.   This place must be the best value in Reykjavik. I walked into my room and had a mini-jaw drop as I saw the quality of the furnishings, the comfortable bed, the NEWness of everything, and a well-stocked kitchenette. Breakfast is a tray of goodies - bread, jams, cheese. They also provide cartons of milk and orange juice that you are free to use up.... what people say » Our kitchenette featured a sink, toaster, mini-fridge, and basic cooking equipment (pots and pans). The front desk staff is VERY nice and helpful. P - Everything was great - clean, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped (wifi in room, kitchen facilities, ipod dock), and the bath was lovely. The staff were friendly & helpful, dealing with some of my tourist queries including phone calls to local tour companies.
