This place must be the best value in Reykjavik. I walked into my room and had a mini-jaw drop as I saw the quality of the furnishings, the comfortable bed, the NEWness of everything, and a well-stocked kitchenette. Breakfast is a tray of goodies - bread, jams, cheese. They also provide cartons of milk and orange juice that you are free to use up.

Everything was great - clean, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped (wifi in room, kitchen facilities, ipod dock), and the bath was lovely. The staff were friendly & helpful, dealing with some of my tourist queries including phone calls to local tour companies. The location is very central and you can walk to all shopping, bars, restaurants, harbour etc. Most tour companies pick up and drop off outside the hotel.

The hotel has perfect location in the center of the city close to everything. The apartment is fully equipped including some condiments in the kitchen. We rented 2 one-bedroom apartments for 2 families and enjoyed it a lot. Hotel staff was extremely helpful. I liked the food served (and nearby restaurants), the ready drinks service, the wooden guys sitting around the lobby, the room we were given (ground floor, with one of our party weak on walking), the willingness to call a taxi when asked, the neat design of the room, esp. bathroom. Staff was really nice and helpful, the room was warm and clean. The hotel is located 2min from the main street and 10min from the center (by walking) and really cheaper than other center hotels. - The staff are incredibly helpful, especially with organising bus transfers, trips and taxi's. An comfortable and central hotel.
