Everything was great... We stayed 8 days in Fira and the hotel is perfectly located in the very centre of the town, close to everything. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was simply amazing... The caldera view from the private terrace is stunning, and there is no need to move from the room to enjoy the sunset. The view only is worth every penny that you pay for the room, which is a nice room (especially the bathroom and the huge jacuzzi!!!) but definetely what makes it a 5 star hotel room .
all reviews » We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (who says that you can only book those when you're on honeymoon ;), so the steps were not an issue (the lift goes almost all the way down to the suite). Other reasons to book this suite: Large terrace overlooking the caldera (probably one of the best terracces in Fira!), great big bed in its own little "cave" - and there is a whirlpool in the bathroom. Very good value for money, and very clean. Lovely staff, very helpful. And breakfast on the roof terracce was b. Everything about this hotel is fantastic... The location at Fira couldnt be better...Many conveniences around... All u need is a step away... The room is spacious very clean & the view from ure private balcony is indescribable... Staff very friendly helpful with information & requests... Breakfast is excellent on the terrace with a great view... Alot of privacy there, we hardly met any other guests in the other rooms... Highly recommended to all... The hotel is located in a very beautiful and scenic location on the edge of the caldera. Wonderful view from the balcony, which we enjoyed meeting the sunset. The location is in the center of Thira close to many restaurants, stores, the bus station, etc. We fell in love with this great place and the view you see every morning you wake up and every evening you go to sleep. A fantastic spot with the most amazing view. We booked a studio but were upgraded to a room which was better for us as many of the studios can only be accessed by many many steps. The staff wizzed up and down the steps with ease but our knees aren't quite so young! The pool is at the bottom of these many steps but a beautiful pool and well worth the climb. Very clean and friendly with a great breakfast. We liked the location and fantastic view which was all we came for on our 2 night stay. Large shower in small bathroom but very modern styling and with good quality toiletries / amenities. Very comfy beds. Tea/coffee making provided and complimentary wine was nice touch. Irish bartender at V lounge was extremely hospitable. Beakfast range was good with added bonus of eggs and omelettes cooked to order.. The view of the caldera from our room was to die for. The staff were friendly and helped with the luggage, which you really need with the many steps to get to the room. The pool was nice and it also had excellent views. The room was nice with a very comfortable bed. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the main street of Fira, so restaurants and shopping were right out the door. We had an incredible view point from the balcony, the room and even from the bathroom on the Caldera. Sunset hour is incredible. Breakfast is nice, staff is friendly and room is sooo beautiful. We had the Grand suite and the balcony was totally worth it. Some steps to the elevator, but no problem. Breakfast was fine, and you eat at the hotels bar and lounge at the top (one story above the street), even greater view. Room cleaning was quite good. Very central placing in Thira. Everything is in short walking distance. The staff were so friendly and always happy to help make our stay wonderful with lots of great information about the area, places to eat and shop. Having a delicious breakfast by the pool with an incredible view each morning was a highlight and a great start to our day. There wasn't a single negative thing I would say about this place. The view from the hotel rooms and swimming pool area is spectacular, with amazing breakfast served overlooking the sea. Fantastic location. Wi-fi connection is a bit tricky, you have to move around and find the right spot to get connection but eventually you find it. Breakfast is good and from the terrace you get to drink your coffee watching the caldera, however for this kind of hotel maybe the choice is a little bit poor. Good but can be improved!. There's nothing to dislike... It was fantastic all around... Too many stairs to go down to the room and the pool. You have to be in great shape!. Tiny balcony with no shade. Pool was small and virtually inaccessible (in true Santorini style ) and lacked shade. Poor hotel orientation upon arrival. The hundred plus steps it took to get to and from the room. The room shower was very small. Otherwise, everything else was fine. So sad the Wifi signal was medium in the room, but excellent by the pool!. The pool area was thight, but its just fine to have a pool to take a swim. There was nothing not to like. Not really a complaint but the very kind baggage helper was not appropriately dressed or clean shaven - he needs a uniform! His trolley looked like it just came off a building site! He was a really nice guy though! By the way make sure you can handle steps if you are in the lower studios! It's Santorini so steps are part of it all of course. The breakfast was okay. Every little thing was extra charge. The bed is a little hard. Hotel-arranged transfer from hotel to airport a total ripoff at 40 euros for a 15 minute ride. Take a taxi instead. The 130 steps to get to my room. Doing that a couple of times a day was tiring' but by the end we were fit'. Many steps down to the rooms but totally worth it!!!. This is not on the beach side of Santorini, and tends to be very windy. Too many stairs to climb to get to street level. WiFi didn't work for 3 days. A lot of stairs. Nothing. Wi fi was very patchy. Steps, but worth it. The waiter touching food by his hands. Rooms are not very clean and the toilets are quite small. Staircases to the main street and hotel lobby are horrible. Lots and lots of steps. The room I got was no relation to what I booked through the letsbookhotel.com, room was not clean, bad location.
