after a 4 week trip travelling around Europe one of our stops was Santorini for 4 days. we chose Iriana apartments from the few but good trip advisor reviews. we are so glad we did. from the very first moment we arrived they made us feel so welcome and part of the family. Iriana and her family were so helpful, attentive we did not want to leave. we had one of the apartments with a spa on the large patio. just magnificent sitting there looking over the water until sunset.a superb breakfast is se.
all reviews » Everything was perfect. The staff was so friendly. Marios went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. He helped us book ATVs and they were delivered to us! The location is right in the middle of everything. It is only a few blocks from the bus station, which is convenient. We used the ATVs to visit most of the areas on the island, but we did take the bus to the open air cinema in Kalmari (a must). The view is amazing! We had the room with the private jacuzzi and it was breathtaking. The ro. the view from the apartment is absolutely spectacular, a view to die for, words cannot describe it the owner Iriana goes out of her way to assist in anything, the free cafe lattes was a real nice touch, very friendly lady!. Iriana Apartments are simply amazing. They have the best view or Fira, staff was perfect, the rooms are amazing. The hotel/cafe terrace is splendid, with good relaxing music and a perfect view for the sunset. Excellent sea view with private hot tube in balcony. The apartment is huge with useful kitchen kits. The owner/ staff were very polite and helpful. It is in a convenient location in between hot attractions. Spacious apartment with large veranda with sun beds and jacuzzi. Large fridge. It is located conveniently at the city centre of Fira and has a good caldera view of the town. Breakfast was delicious and good though it wasn't a buffet style. Everything was just fine. The views were amazing and close to everything that's the only good things otherwise I would not recommend. one thing I would have liked to see would be a queen size bed instead of a double. but lots of hotels in Europe have doubles. It would have been nice if the bathtub had a hook on the wall to hang the handheld water faucet so you could use the bath as a shower as well. Other than that - no complaints. Wifi was not working very well. There were some miscommuncations on the pick up from airport to hotel (which was supposed to be complementary) but we ended up having to take the bus and carry our luggage uphill. Nothing. No pool. Only negative is that if you are 'mobility restricted', the town of Fira is not for you. It is very hilly and most accommodation has a lot of steps. The wifi was not working in our room which was the really only disappointing feature of our stay. very difficult to have a shower,no plug for the bath. Had to wait for hot water to warm up over night. Drainage system in the bathroom is not working so well. Nothing. lack facilities. well its a bit old furnished. Too many steps. There was a annoying squeak in the ceiling that woke us up on and off this was not unique to our room. Decor needs updating badly, quality of linen poor. No phone every time u needed something u had to walk up 20 stairs. Could not flush toilet paper down toilet tv too small bathroom really small lucky we were not large people verandah so small only 1 person could fit at a time.
