Very comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast, served early and late,wonderful facilities, so close to central train station, people verynice and 24 hour reception, lovely rooms, tv, shower wonderful andreally great staff in general very clean hotel and great value formoney, really obliging and will get you iron or anything you need. The hotel was very convenient located, nearby the city center, railway station, best disco's and cultural entertainments. The atmosphere in hotel was very friendly, helpful and warm. The breakfasts were excellent.

First thing in the morning check out took too long. We had to catch a train and almost missed it. it seems to be close to the "red area"..- beds not comfortable. no elevator, very small bathroom,. The lady at the reception couldn't speak english. The room was quite cold. There was not much hot water in the shower. I had booked a smoker's room, but there wasn't any. We stayed for three days and they never cleaned the room. There's no lift. They water down the fruit juice!. small bathroom. Quite a busy (local Turkish) environment so parking can be tricky. There's no lift and its 5 floors high so check your room number if you're not too agile !. Minir bar, Elevator. Even though you adapted the price to reflect my cancellation of two night, the hotel did not take into consideration this change and still charged me the full price of the booking.No elevator. The room was very small. Noise emanating from the street. No aircondition; therefore, we had to open our window and of course magnified the noise (had no sleep there). The bathroom stunk of urine and had to request the reception to have the maid thoroughly clean the area in which they did.staff smoking at the rear of the hall, we could smell it in our first floor room. the room was too small to sit and relax in and the downstairs area was poor. No lift. No space for breakfast. I stayed 2 nights and room has never been cleaned up...the basin is bad, water can't flow...the room is also very poor, not worthy of the price.

A8 from Salzburg
At the end of the Munich - Ramersdorf highway you have to go straight on to the Rosenheimer Street in the direction of the city center. Then go across the Ludwig bridge over Isar to the Zweibrückenstrasse up to the Isartorplatz. Turn to left at the Isar gate on to the Frauenstrasse (passing the Viktualienmarkt), across the Blumenstrasse and Sendlinger Torplatz on to the Sonnenstraße. Just before the Karlsplatz (Stachus) turn to left on the Schwanthalerstrasse and follow this street to the Goethestrasse. Turn right and you will find us on the left side.
A8 from Augsburg/Stuttgart
At the end of the highway always in the direction of the city centre (Verdistraße, Amalienburgstraße, Menzinger Straße, Notburgastraße). At Romanplatz turn half left on to the Arnulfstrasse. Go straight up to the main station (on the north side). Then turn to right towards Bahnhofplatz and go straight on to the Schillerstrasse. At the signal of the Schiller/Schwanthalerstrasse turn to right and follow this to the Goethestrasse. Turn right and you will find us on the left side.

A9 from Nürnberg
At the end of the Munich-Schwabing highway turn to right on to the Schenkendorfstraße and then left on to the Leopoldstraße, which you have to follow till the end of the Feldherrnhalle. There turn to right on to the Briennerstrasse and up to the next big crossing. Here turn to left on to the Sonnenstrasse and straight up to the Karlsplatz. Now turn to right on Schwanthalerstrasse and follow this street to the Goethestrasse. Turn right and you will find us on the left side.

A95 from Garmisch-Partenkirchen & A96 from Lindau
Turn to left at the end of the Garmischer Straße (Middle Ring) highway. Keep going straight and after about 1 km in the subway turn to right in the direction of the city center on to the Landsberger street. The Landsberger street turns on to the Schwanthalerstrasse after a diversion. At the signal of the Schwanthalerstrasse/Goethestrasse turn to right, and you will find us on the left side.

By Airplane
From the international airport of Munich “Franz-Josef-Strauss” it is about 40 minutes ride in the inner city to the main station. You can use public transport (suburban railway No. 1 and 8) or the Lufthansa shuttle bus to reach the main station. Please use the exit going in the “Bayerstrasse/Geothestrasse” direction. Go straight at the first signal, cross the Bayerstrasse and go further to the Schwanthalerstrasse. At this signal go a little further and after about 25 m you come to hotel Goethe on the right side of the Goethestrasse.

By Train
End of the train journey takes us quickly (approx. 3 minutes walk) from the main station. Please use the exit going in the “Bayerstrasse/Geothestrasse” direction. Go straight at the first signal, cross the Bayerstrasse and go further to the Schwanthalerstrasse. At this signal go a little further and after about 25 m you come to hotel Goethe on the right side of the Goethestrasse.
