We were met by a very helpful gentleman who swiftly checked us in then showed us to the on site parking. He even came out the front to stop the traffic so we could reverse back down the street to the parking entrance. So very much appreciated. The rom was spacious, clean & very comfortable. All you needed was provided. Short walk to the old town and then onto the river. Lots of restaurants close by and in the town. Agree with other reviews that the area could cause some people worries at ni.
all reviews » We were gived a spacious triple room instead of double, it was very large, large bathroom. Breakfasts were good, however there were no hot meal. Friendly staff. Good location in the center. Although it is situated in the 'turkish' area the surroundings were ok. The very attentive staff made the stay much more enjoyable. The location is great within walking distance from central station, subway station and Marianpltz. Also the breakfast is good. Excellent cost-benefit. When we booked the rooms the hotel blocked the whole amount of money we should have paid on my credit card (950 euros). It was unblocked by my bank only in 15 days. But the real trouble was when one of our friends decided not to go, and we had to rebook the room - another sum of money was blocked on my card. So doing any changes to the booking is not very convenient in this hotel. breakfast was good, but same everyday. They forgot to supply blanket/pillow/bedclothes for the sofa, for the third person, although we reserved for three persons. They provided them eventually, but we had to take it to the room. The location was a little too far from Marion Platz and in an area that was a little seedy. One of the mattresses in the room was saggy and needed to be replaced. No air conditioner. You need to pay for wifi, plus the fact that you can use only one gadget for one wifi code. This hotel is in a very dangerous part of the city. It is not air conditioned and the management was rude. We stayed one night but the heat was unbearable! We canceled the 2nd night and she was so rude about only refunding 50% of the costs of the two rooms. I would never recommend staying at this hotel. It was not safe and it was not comfortable. I cannot believe it is affiliated with Comfort Hotels. Please let others know.
