  Our rooms on the ground floor (a former stable in the long distant past) of this charming property were artistically decorated and very comfortable. In a wonderful hidden position with a large lake populated by various bird life including geese and a pair of Australian swans. Our delightful host Sabine was very knowledgeable about the Champagne ... what people say » area, and advised on a number of local champagne producers. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights there, which gave us plenty of time to explore the sur - Everything! Our room (superior suite) was spacious and clean. Our hosts were welcoming and very friendly. They prepared us a beautiful home cooked meal which we shared at their family table as we had arrived on bikes and were too exhausted to go out in the evening. We had free range of the property which includes a beautiful lake with a flock of geese and ducks. We fell in love with it all and would look forward to going back again if the opportunity arose.

  Arrived after a long journey very tired and hungry, hotel was just what we needed! Unfortunately it was a Sunday so most restaurants were closed but the owner pointed us in the direction of a couple that were open. Room was clean and tidy and bigger than most we have stayed in on our travels in France!!! Overall a lovely stopover and wou - This quaint charming little hotel is just off the main square near all the bars and restaurants. Our room was delightful and can only be described as unique with all the little personal touches. Breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choices of pastries and cake, mostly home made. We parked within 5 mins walk but moved the car closer after 7pm for convenience of loading the following morning.

  The service - from the moment we arrived the service was exceptional - 5 Stars. We recieved assistance in parking our car, assistance with lugagge to rooms and a tour of the facilities.   Reception were very helpful, we arrived late at 9.30 pm but this presented no problem. Location was easy to find.The cot we had requested was present and made up. The family suite was ideal, the children were in a separate room up a small staircase that lead off from the inside of the main door to the suite. All very clean, beds clean and comforta... what people say » ble. Shower area a little basic but adequate. Lots of hot water. Breakfast was good, with a good selection of cereals, bread, pastries, cheese and mea - This hotel is just lovely. The layout is pleasing, the staff are helpful and they've decorated with great care. It was very helpful that after several hours travelling in the car we could count on having a lovely meal in the on-site restaurant. We were there in late July with a room leading onto the garden. Each of the rooms surrounding the garden feel extremely private as the plants have matured a lot from the picture included on their website.
