  It was clean, and the staff was quite helpful (almost without exception). They also found us a small, suitable bed for our six year old to sleep on.   This is a lovely hotel ideally situated on the outskirts of Honfleur overlooking the Seine estuary. I cannot praise it highly enough. Everything about it was perfect from the lovely room and breakfast to the superb restaurant.   What a beautiful place to stay. We had a cozy room with the most comfortable bed and pillows. It was nicely furnished. Beautiful grounds, with ponds and fountains. Very friendly, helpful reception. This is a very special place to stay. - Idyllic location, beautiful setting in the countryside but close to the coast. Staff v friendly and efficient. Lovely buffet breakfast, and dinner - good value and varied each night. Excellent wine list. Rooms modern décor and v comfortable. Big walk-in shower. En-suite a bit tight but manageable (room 20). Would recommend this Auberge highly.

  all of the above was excellent and it made for a wonderful holiday for my mum who's 86, myself and my teen-age son. It was great for the 3 generations. Can't comment on the value for money because I don't have points of comparison - The swimming pool was clean and of reasonable size
