touring D-Day sites. Located in the British sector. A 15-20 minute drive
to Bayeux; approx 40 minutes to Omaha and Utah Beach. There are no
restaurants in the village of Meuvaines; however, there is a wonderful
restaurant about 1 km away in the town of Crepon and a few restaurants
about 2-3 km away in Asnelles. The countryside is absolutely stunning!

Great host, nicely equipped apartment, top location in Honfleur. Honfleur is a wonderful place - really romantic and the apartment house was located in a wonderful narrow street of half-timber houses, shops and cafes. The owner was really sweet and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The apartment was really spacious. -

This was a great B&B. Ryes is a very small country town in Normandy but it is central to all the D-Day sights (most are within 1 hour drive) and you can go to a nearby town on Gold Beach for great restaurants by the sea. The owner is very friendly and the rooms are well appointed.
