I stayed in a triple room with 2 teenagers. Hotel Mistral was recently renovated, so all was fresh and clean. Nice open-air internal courtyard for relaxing after a long day visiting Paris. Quiet street, close to quaint shopping towards Denfert-Rocheraux in one direction, and Montparnasse in the other way, one block from Gaite metro stop. I will recommend this hotel to friends and would stay here again myself. Bed and sheets were super!.
all reviews » The hotel was newly refurbished so the decoration was excellent, everything looks Brand new, the staff is very eager to help and they have Young staff. The view from the window, even though is not a landscape is very "paris' movie" like for a europe first timer is perfect. Very close to a subway station (Gaite) Very close to shopping sites and a lot of Cafes around. Location-close to Gaite & Montparnasse Stations as we were travelling by train. Spotlesssly clean room with fridge, new bathroom with large shower and soundproof windows. Private hotel courtyard was great for lunch and use of microwave convenient. Great location with easy access to metro Gaite, and a rather spacious room (by Parisian standards). The room had obviously been recently renovated -- everything was clean and fresh looking. Good value for the price -- I'd definitely stay here again. Very clean and newly updated rooms, very white, area ok, near Montparnasse station and some good restaurants, fairly quiet, hotel staff gave us umbrellas as it was raining. The position is great, Staff very friendly, is clean recently refurbished, very big shower [not easy to find in Paris] !!! Very good value for the very reasonable rates. I like the neighborhood that the hotel was located in felt safe and was close to the metro. air conditioning, cleanliness, outdoor sitting area, good breakfast, friendly staff. Staff were attentive, pleasant and helpful. Facilities were very good. Near the railway station, easy transportation to the tourist site. very new hotel with nice bathroom. Location & atmospher. Our room was rather small but did not spoil our stay. The hotel is very clean with modern fittings etc. Very comfortable and quiet: room well appointed and clean. Nice breakfast. Good wifi. Cleanliness. The room itself was small, but the 3 windows that opened, the clean decor, and the fact that we were there to see paris, not the hotel room negated any negative thoughts about room size. At the time we arrived apparently they did not have a system of room assigment, so it was a bit akward to enter a room that was indeed occupied. Cleaning staff does not respect the do not disturb sign on the door. And they could as well include the breakfast for the same Price of the room. Airconditioning had been shut down end of summer and we found duvet too hot-would have appreciated top sheet and/or cotton blanket. The internet connection wasn't very strong. rooms small. Weak internet connection. Parking was very difficult to find and the one offered by the hotel was expensive but also was the parking garage. Also, it was not as close to the Eiffel tower as I had wished. soap, plastic cups thrown away by cleaning staff but not repalced. would have liked a kettle. Wifi wasn't great. The air condition in the room not working well (interupted during the night), the bathroom was not yet finish renovated. room smelled very strongly of chlorid. A bit noisy at night. A bit more expensive than my usual range. Room size.
