This hotel is in an excellent location. Turn left when you walk out front door to Metro station. About 200 yds. Monoprix supermarket opposite is marvellous - Paris prices of course. Turn right and a two minute walk along the Rue de Bac takes you to the Seine. on the way you will see marvellous boulangerie on left and delicatessen on right (one block up). At the end of Rue de Bac, the Musee d'Orsay is on your left and walk across the bridge in front of you and you're at the Louvre! Turn left.
all reviews » The location is perfect and the hotel is very romantic. We came to Paris from Turkey for our wedding. Concierge (especially Christophe) helped a lot to us. Everything was perfect. Thanks to Pont Royal for this wonderful experience. We will come there again. the location: closest to musee d'orsay, seine, louvre. everything in walking distance. the staff was very helpful concerning reservations for dinner, suggestions where to go and so on. loved our stay!. Like most things about the hotel- just wish they had coffee facilities in the room-the room was not a bad size for paris- and considering we booked late -it was a pleasant surprise... The rooms (classic or superior) are not different at all whereas the price is. The bathroom sink plug was faulty so we couldn't use the sink on one of the mornings. The concierge messed up my taxi booking but luckily another taxi was close by. Room was also a bit small but not sure if that is Paris in general. I would have liked to had breakfast included in my room rate. the cost was high and we were sad that breakfast wasn't included at the rate that we paid. Nothing!. No kettle, tea, etc in room. This was a disappointment for as we like to make a tea/coffee when we return from a walk or outing. Expensive, small room. Very small room(. No bar or lounge /sitting area as closed for rufurbisment with no warning offered no compensation or anywhere to sit !!! have stayed there 4 times but will not return.
