The staff was very kind and helpfull. Room was clean, comfortable and quite big. The position of the hotel is fantastic. The room had enough space for children to play and sleep. The extra bed was good to sleep and nicely big.Altogether excellent: really lush and clean and quiet and nice. Well worth the money. The Hotel was SUPER.it was our second stay. Room above expectation, faced courtyard so was quiet. I liked the hotel size: not too big to feel lost, but big enough to have all services. The price for a young child's breakfast was some as for a adult which we did not find correct.The location is very centrally located, but incredibly touristy. One must get out of the immediate neighborhood to find better restaurants at a better value. We found the TV to be very small and very far away for viewing. Also the sound was set very low.there was no phone book in the room. The breakfast could be richer.since you asked.....bed just way to firm. The location. The neighborhood does not exude charm. It is mostly hotels and high end shops; there is not a "bakery on every corner" (like other parts of the city).There are no hooks on the back of the bathroom door , therefore the bathrobe was hanged by the staff on the door itself, not very nice to see. bar closed at 12. "courtyard" rooms felt dark. Breakfast too expensive for the selection of food provided.Our room did not have a shower, it would have been better if each roomhas that option, not just a bath tap extension. Dinner was very rushed despite dining room being very quiet. Our starters were delivered within 2 minutes of the aperitifs and each following course was delivered almost as we finished the previous. Room service 'Breakfast' was seriously over priced at Euros 27 for 1 glass of orange juice, 1 pot of hot water and 1 tea bag and 3 rolls with 2 squares of butter and some jam.The hotel is being renovated. Some parts of it are off limit. The other part looks a little bit like it needs renovation too. booked a delux room but think we had normal.I felt like the price was high and am not sure I would call this hotel a four star, maybe a 3 1/2, we had a great room , but not four star. The Westin is right next door and you have that as a four star, that really seemed to be a 5 star. bathrooms not so clean.Breakfast is not good. Front desk service. blanket was covered by the bed sheet; luxury hotel standart should be a smilar as hilton/marriott/shearaton; foreign language (english) is fair but should be fluent;the critical one was their telephone operator,very difficult to reach.
