Great location. I was traveling alone as a mid-twenty female and felt very safe. There were great restaurants and bars nearby. If you are looking for luxury this is not for you. If u are looking for a cheap convient place to sleep. This is perfect. Although the hotel is out if date and cheap looking, there were clean sheets on the bed:). Location is superb- right in the exact centre of paris- Chatelet- I had a room with ensuite at rear of hotel on level 3 over courtyard- whilst basic the room was spacious and for the budget traveller this place is great value for money..

Great location,only 5mins walk to the nearest metro station,and 10 mins to the louvre! 79 euro per night for a room with ensuite in central paris = great value!. Having an en suite for 76 euros a night in central Paris!. it was always clean and it is open 24h/day which is really usefull. Close to every tourist attraction by metro. It is close to many city center sites in Paris. Breakfast was offered. The staff were exceptionally helpful with travel problems. Our car rental agency needed to be contacted and the staff assisted us greatly. The location is great. Close to a major train station as well as Notre Damme and the Louvre. Lots of shopping, night life and restaurants in the area. Room was clean.The location was Fab, not high end accomodation but if you shouldn´t be spending much time in your hotel when you´re in Paris. The shower had enough warm water, and the bed was comfy, and there was no noise from the street or from the rooms near by.Rooms were clean and hotel staff very friendly. The fact that there was no lift (elevator) should be noted in the advertisements. We managed the 113 steps to our room (6 floors), but for seniors this would be a major difficulty. This should be noted on the site. very small room, but not bad considering the budget price in a good location.The stairs - normally I don't mind, but we happened to have a lot ofluggage on this trip and we didn't realize that to get into the hotelyou have to climb 2+ flights of narrow stairs before you get to thereception. If I hadn't had all of the luggage, I wouldn't have minded. Iwill definitely stay here again when I just have my backpack. Was aware that showers were not in our room which was not a bother,but not aware that toilets were not either, but again was not too muchof a bother.Had to pay for showers and no kitchen access. paying for showers, hours of shower availability. It was just a place to sleep, not like a home...The fact that their was no lift and I was on the top floor. Very old. Staff didn't speak English. the floor on our room was on an angle,as well as all the floors in the building, toilet was tiny and was down stairs, not good for the middle of the night, shower costed 2.50 and was only a portable shower in a room, no sink or anything..we were on the top floor, incredible steep staircase with no lift, but thats Paris for you i guess..Shared WC. 2.50EUR for a shower. Narrow staircase with no elevator. Some rooms open onto one of the noisiest streets in Paris. would have liked just a few more towels.It's in the midst of all the sex-shops!!!. Loud (street noise). The bath towels were extremely small (hand-towel size). Pay showers.only one toilet and one shower (which you had to pay for) between all the guest rooms (more than 20). The staff was not very polite. Security issues.The mattress was old. If you want hot water, you can have, but not everyday. If want bed a good bed to relax, this is not the place. But, it has an excellent location in Paris.One of the staff was rather rude. Had to ask 3 times to get an extra pillow.
