The hotel was really nicely designed with interesting features. The staff were excellent and very helpful. We did wait 30mins to get into our room, but it was fine as we went to the cafe on the corner for coffee. Room was clean and bright with TV and private bathroom and AC. Hot water available day and night. In a great location, 10 mins from Montparnasse, 20 mins walk from Louvre, 30 mins walk from Eiffel Tower. I didn't want to give a great review in case the price goes up now! Would come bac.

Small hotel close to metro,a range of restaurants and the Jardins Luxembourg. About 30 minutes brisk walk to Notre Dame or the Louvre. Pleasant helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Breakfast reasonable given prices and what was on offer at nearby restaurants. We liked location with niche shopping and excellent restaurants, proximity to Jardins des Luxembourg, friendly and informed staff, English spoken, pets accepted. Friendly staff, a good working WiFi, a hotel with Paris charm with location steps to few metro stations, great restaurants and Jardin du Luxemburg. We did think it was a little strange when they asked for our key when we went out of the hotel - but don't worry they do it to everyone, and we think it's to ensure keys don't get lost!. Tiny room, but otherwise no complaints. The enamel in bathtub and the toilet bowl is eroded down to the metal. Needs to be fixed. The breakfast room in the basement might be fine for winter, but with good summer weather, it was much more agreeable to have breakfast in nearby cafes. Had to hold the shower up yourself and didn't have a 'marble bathroom with robes' as described on letsbookhotel.com. Smallish room (Paris) Quite expensive. Chest of drawers with crumbs in it ... A very minor point. Perhaps a shower curtain would make showering easier. cramped lift and stairs. bath is something wrong. Lack of facilities to unwind after a day touring Paris. No lounge of note . N/A. - outdated furniture. check in time seems to be a little iffy. If checking in after 4 or 5, I don't think it is a problem, but earlier and you may find the door locked. Carpets had a few small stains Pillows ( as in most hotels) were too thick. Had to wait an hour during lunch time for the hotel to open so that we could check in. Very difficult and inconvenient when travelling with luggage.
