The Duty staff were always friendly and helpful. What was particularly good was that the Single Rate was not too extortionate as is usual nowadays. Just hope I can rememebr how to book it again! Thought the breakfat was quite generous, as usually a "Continental" Breakfast consists of a croissant and coffee. Friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast, ease of access to Metrosand close to central landmarks, close to many restaurants and cafes,no lockouts.

Convenient location. Simple room. Night staff polite. Good location, clean and comfortable. Location of Hotel is very good. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She tried to help us find a Lebanese restaurant, but could not find her Yellow Pages, which she had lent to another tourist. The included breakfast was good value.Everything you need when visiting a big city. Medium size room, decent breakfast and nice surroundings. Very close to the metro and nice restaurants. But the staff is nice to help us to call a taxi while we couldn't find one on the street when we leave the hotel.Whewn I check in to a room it is my custome to look under the bed. I have fiund in the past that when packing it is usual to pout the suitcase open on the bed and things can slide offon to the floor and get knocked under. It has happened to me. 1.Noise from street. 2. Inability to use our phone card from the room. 3. Failure of the staff to relay an important telephone message that came in while we were out. Then, inability to even find it.Major work on reception meant there was no lounge but that should be temporary. impolite, sullen staff (morning staff only). Appalling breakfast.Very small room. The TV was not working at all!!! So we had no TV when I had specifically chosen a hotel room which had a TV. We asked for a non-smoking room but were given a room that smelled of cigarettes. When we asked about this, we were told that the whole hotel was non-smoking! Surely some sort of room freshener could have been used to get rid of the smell!. Nope. You get what you pay for and in this case i'm very satisfied with what we got. a little noise. bedroom was to small. The guy at reception (in the morning) was not as friendly as I expected. Rooms were extremely small.to narrow. Yes! Hotel being renovated and paint from ceilings flaking....not tomention the 'stained' bath towels!! - not impressed. Should have beennotified about the renovation in advance not find out about it onarrival at reception.The room i stayed in was in the attic - very small room. The breakfast was generally poor and the elevator didn't work correctly in my opinion. It was bad experience that one of the staff made a mistake when booking airport shuttle for me. It was originally planned to be 8pm. It turned out to be 8am in the morning and therefore I was waken up by their call and we were told to come down to the reception to talk to the driver while we were still sleeping. What a horrible experience?? Finally, we needed to take a taxi.
