  Got a taxi from Gare du Nord for just under Euro 20. Hotel has two steps up to reception and an elevator. We chose this hotel as it was close to Montpanasse RER which we needed the following morning. Other hotels are closer but this hotel was better value for money. We had tea and coffee facilitie - Loved the location. It's in an area where there are a lot going on but there aren't many tourists and we felt totally safe. Unlike certain neighborhoods in district 2, 9, and 11 where we don't feel safe. The neighborhood is very diverse and has a very "authentic" vibe because there aren't too many tourists that venture out there. The second-hand market two blocks from the hotel on Sundays was so much fun! Hotel was very clean and reasonably priced. Bathroom is updated and new. Staff was overall
