I think two people would have been cramped - but for me it was great (besides who needs a large room when you're in Paris?) I read a lot of reviews before I decided on this hotel. I had a very quiet room - I was facing the courtyard/buildings so I had no noise from the street.

Pretty room with a nice wooden beam feature from the original building, in a quiet area with a window which opens out into a splendid courtyard below. And the hotel is really close to subway and but station. The room is a little bit small so maybe two people couldn't share.. But nice for just one person. Nothing's uncomfortable. Oh! The receptionist couldn't have been more efficient and helpful! Wanting to change our return rail tickets,he directed us to a local station rather than the main line terminal, saving two time and money wasting taxi rides. Knowing that one of us had become not well, he happily agreed to us delaying our checkout , allowing us to rest in the room and avoid a tediously long wait at the station.
