  The staff were very friendly and I even had dinner with them. I liked the free wifi access. The place is in the mist of a lot of great shopping and you have a lot of restaurants, banks etc. The stores do not close until midnight. I did not mind hearing people outside. - Location is great, wifi in the room and modest breakfast.

  We are very pleased to stay at African House Hostel. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, hot water, free wifi and the location was excellent. The railway station and metro is within walking distance. The hotel building is unique, a nineteenth century colonial building! We love the old style lift.

  very nice owner, very clean rooms, great location close the islamic quarter, friendly stuff, you get help any time you need some and its no problem to get the laundry done - The location were great. 15mins walk to Khan el Khalili. Great hospitality. The staff were super helpful. They make me feel so at home.

  The rooms are of high standard and very clean. All staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. I would reccommend anyone to stay here, as I am coming again.   It was very nice to be met at the airport! Staff is cool, smile andhelp, if you have any problem or issue with the room they will try tohelp you(it can be surprisingly fast if you ask more tan once ;) like inmy case). The rooms have nice a/c and more then 300 tv chanels (mostarabic but also many in english). The Wifi works very good and they havea ... what people say » pc with internet. - The hostel was quite comfy and also quite homely, My girlfriend and I enjoyed staying there very much.We were just planning on staying in Cairo for a few days so we really didn't feel the need to stay at expensive hotels. Ramses II Hotel was just what we were looking for. And the staffs were very kind and generous. We hope to stay there again next time we're planning a trip to Cairo.

  The staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. The owner also went out of his way to help us adjust our reservation and make the most of our time in beautiful Cairo. In terms of location, Zamalek, is the best place to stay for a traveler in Egypt, because it's close to great restaurants and sites. I would definitely stay here again.
