  It is hard to know where to begin describing what a wonderful time we had staying at the Osiris Hotel when we visited Cairo. It might be best to start with the staff. They were always genuinely cheerful and helpful. When we planned our trip, we purposely picked small family run hotels for our stay. We are a family of four (two girls ages 11 and 15) and we sh - The Osiris Hotel is in a perfect location close to central Cairo but off the beaten path enough to be quiet. The view of the city from the balcony is great. The staff is excellent; the whole place exceptionally clean; and the decor is wonderful. I am a female solo traveler and felt very comfortable here.

I got a room with 2 beds w - As a backpacker, staying at the pvi was a luxury, but all things considered, this hotel was very inexpensive for the regular traveler, and to be honest, they could charge a lot more and get away with it. The staff was absolutely fantastic, friendly, efficient, genuinely helpful. The breakfast was not of my liking, as it was too greasy, with cold fries/chips, but a typical Egypian meal- not necessarily bad. But what this hotel extra special is the view. Without any doubt, they have the best roof

  Friendly and great, central location. Really want people to stay and enjoy the Hotel. We arrived by train and the Hotel then free of charge allowed us to take a taxi at their expense to the Cairo Airport. This Hotel deserves to be recognised for its 'caring about your stay' and showing the 'best side of Egypt'. - Very helpful and friendly staff.... what people say » Hotel located on top floor of building.   I can quite confidently say that I have travelled across the world. I am yet to come a cross a hotel this good. In my travels I stayed in 5* hotels as well as youth hostel and anywhere in between. I loved every aspect of my stay in star plaza. I would most certainly not look anywhere else to stay if I ever visit Cairo again and would strongly reco... what people say » mmend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Cairo. I can not fault anything in this hotel specially every member of staff I encountered. - Everything!!. Location is great. Very near you can find many coffee shops such as pizza hut, Costa cafe, MacDonald, Cinnamon. Easily to go to Mohandessin and Dokki-very near. Staff is polite and helpful with the guests. Rooms are clean and with good furniture inside. I like my stay there and i recommend this hotel for other guests.

Paris Hostel is a very nice place, well decorated, confortable, safe and the staff are amazing. The room isnt very confortable, the bathroom is small and when you use the shower, all the bathroom get wet. Other than that, great hotel.

  We had a delightful stay at the Pyramid Inn Motel. There is a spectacular view of the Giza Pyramids from the roof, where we were able to hang out at night and eat breakfast in the morning. It is less than 1 kilometer walk (along a busy street, so be careful with small children) to the Pyramid complex.
