I was quite nervous about staying in a two star, but my husband and I were so pleasantly surprised. This hotel is very modern and super clean - like the cleanest hotel room i can remember staying in. The facilities were basic, but truly all that we needed during our two night stay in Copenhagen. The shower, though small, had great water pressure. The bed, whilst squeezed into a corner where one person has to climb over another to get in, was extremely comfortable. The location was fantastic - v.

The hotel is about 10 min walk from main train station and 20 min walk to the city, so absolutely fine as Copenhagen is anyways not very big. (Bus in front of the hotel). Around the corner is a shopping mall if you cannot afford the expensive food in Denmark. From there you cross a little bridge and can take the water bus into the city i. The hotel is just behind the train station, so exactly in the city centre: easy to reach, no noise from the railroads (we had an 11th floor room) and very stylish! The room is essential, just 5 mt long and 2 mt wide, but do you really need more? Clean, silent, with the bathroom right there (you must be pretty close-knit with your roommate). There's a locker room in the basement and a bike rental service. We didn't enjoy breakfast. A nice new hotel with everything you need, close to the station and sightseeings. The beds are very comfortable and the room design is really nice, we liked it a lot. This is the best price-quality option in Copenhagen if you dont want to spend hundreds of EUR per night. Breakfast optional for around EUR 6, bycikle rental option for around EUR 15 per day (highly recommended to discover the city!!!). This hotel was very clean and in very nice location I stay there for 3 night and I exteded it for more 7 night, its in the middle of every thing shopping and others, the servie is good also there is a bike for free with each room you can just take it and have a tour. A nice modern hotel just outside the centre of the city which is about a 10 minute walk. Thanks!. we didnt like the part of searching for parking even though the parking on the hotel's street is free, you have to be really lucky to find one otherwise you will pay. the view was very industrial like an area of factories . we didnt get new towels on our 4 nights stay. there was no elevator at the entrance and we had to lift up the heavy luggage ourselves via the stairs. It's not bad, but the breakfast would be better. Breakfast is ridiculous for the price they demand. You get "soft-boiled" eggs, bread and a lousy choice of toppings. Nothing. If you need a briekfast do not forget to pay additionally. The room was a bit small. It seemed rather expensive. It cost more per night to stay at Wakeup Copenhagen, than the Hilton at the airport. breakfast should be included in the price. Rooms are on the small side. If sharing a room the light in the en-suite pod can be very bright and noises from en-suite are transmitted very freely. No bar or restaurant at the hotel. Hotel bill extra 20 DKK as a fee for paying by visa card. No so good sound protection (you may hear noise from the street). We bought metro passes for nothing. The immediate scenery is a bit on the ugly side but before you know it you're walking into city center. Not a lot really! I suppose it was a bit of a walk to the centre but not far really and we ended up quite liking the walk!. View from window, small size of room, no closets for keeping clothes, too fancy equipment (difficult to find switch for bed lamp...). stairs to climb in order to receive reception from the street. There can be loud noise from the train tracks outside, at nightime. Place of the hotel could be better. It's beside the rails (but not noisy) and only near to the railway station and the Tivoli Park. Curtains too white for morning sun (provide eye masks or put dark brown liner/rollerblind. TV did not have angle/swivel bracket. Easy chair not that easy. No ramp for wheeled luggage at entrance step.(Very easy to add at side of wide steps). Not enough room for storing our stuff. There was no cabinet or shelves or wardrobe. The lift was a nightmare. It would stop on every single floor repeatedly before you reached your floor. Too little shampoo in the bath. Rooms were a bit small, but fine for one night. Also no bar/canteen. Breakfast was too simple..not Worth the Money the second day. Room sooooo tiny - don't bring many suitcases! Staff were not that friendly, and kept trying to speak to us in Danish, not English. they have no restaurant and there is not any nearby. Second person of couple has to climb over the other to get in and out of bed as the bed is against the window. Pillow erly thin. Overnight parking is quite expensive! DKK 140,-.
