When on a short city break we look for hotels which are small, characterful, good value, conveniently located for transport to and from the airport and are close to at least some of the major attractions on foot and to public transport. Hotel Tiffany was all of this and more, and we really enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal for us - just minutes' walk from the Central station and various bus stops, cafes, restaurants (we'd recommend Mother, Pate Pate and Bio Mio) bars, food stores, etc. W.
all reviews » We stayed here for 5 nights in late August 2013. The location near the train station was very convenient for us as we used the train a lot to travel to outer areas. It is also therefore central for all the city buses. A very nice, small family run hotel, very friendly. Their breakfast is unusual. You have it in your room, warm rolls being delivered each morning and you have a basket of breakfast goodies in the fridge. Nespresso machine for coffee and tea in the room. While not super quiet . The hotel was an older building that has been remodeled and maintained in immaculate presentation and condition. The location was perfect for us because it was one block from the train station, two blocks from Tivoli, and three blocks from the pedestrian shops/restaurants. The staff was wonderful. Every person was genuinely friendly, cooperative and spoke perfect English. We had initially booked two days before a Baltic cruise but ended up booking two more days at the end of our cruise. The bre. Hotel has all the amenities a traveller could ask for: tiny kitchen unit (sink, fridge, microwave, toaster,coffee-maker, cutlery, dishes) along with a iron and ironing board. The bed was comfortable. Lots of cupboard space in the bathroom. The breakfast is "in-room" and bread/pastries are delivered each morning. The fridge in the room contains juice, cheese, pate, jam, yoghurt, etc. This is more than ample even though not comparable to the large breakfast buffets in larger hotels. The hotel is. We stayed five nights in a large room on the 5th floor. Loved having a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee-maker in the room; enjoyed delivery of hot bread for breakfast. There is enough to make a sandwich to take along for a late-morning snack. Comfortable beds; decent lighting; easy-to-connect wi-fi; adequate bathroom with shower; pleasant staff. I can't think of a better hotel experience in center city Copenhagen in more than 30 years of visiting. The rooms were big and comfortable. the basin and fridge and microwave was a good touch. The breakfast was fantastic and fresh bread delivered to room was great. It is a basic but great breakfast. It is located near the station and there are a few seedy shops in the area but in no way do you feel threatened. I use bookings.com all the time and the reports of the guests were very correct. Will recommend greatly. It is located close to the central station - very good to get to and from the airport. Tivoli attraction park is also nearby, this is the place worth visiting. Staff is friendly, wifi works well and free of charge. And there was coffee machine in my room with coffee supply restocked daily during room service. The staff is very friendly and helpful the hotel is like a home away from home-very nicely and efficiently decorated.we checked in late at the evening and Fredrik was very kind and helped us a lot. We returned now after a week cruise and we are staying once again at this hotel. I was very pleased that Hotel Tiffany supplied a mini fridge and coffee and tea making facilities. This makes a world of difference to the comfort of travellers. It was also pleasing to be supplied with 2 easy chairs and a table. I would certainly stay there again. Excellent location in the city centre; we also liked the organization of breakfasts. The 2 rooms we had were great. Location quite good also. We would stay there again. There was not always someone at the reception during opening hours (7 am to 11 pm). No Air Conditioning but fans were provided when requested. Our first stay we had a street level corner room that was very nice but seemed to afford too much exposure to the sounds of the street. Our second stay was on the third floor and was very quiet. There is construction in the area for the Metro, which is not that pleasing and required a little further walk to get to some of the shopping/attractions. This did not deter from the hotels' charm and there was no noise issue. The window to the courtyard was glassed over and could not be opened: it would have been nice to open it for a cross-breeze during the unusually warm weather. There is some noise from the Metro construction just outside the hotel, but it is only during daytime hours and it won't last forever. There was no air conditioner in the room (or I failed to find one), though opening balcony door solved this problem. Breakfast is a bit light. Room was a bit cold (september) as no heating is done in the building before November. I thought the breakfast was inadequate. It would have been nice to have muesli and plain yoghurt instead of the very sweet flavoured yoghurt. Also more butter, milk and tea need to be supplied with each breakfast basket. there were nothing fresh/green (tomato, cucumber..)included in breakfast basket As me and my friend love to drink a lot of coffee in the morning - - too few coffee capsules in the room availabe for breakfast (only 3 and could not get more). Nothing. nothing. Room was small, especially if you have large luggage like we did. Price is high for what it offers, like every hotel in Scandinavia. The neighborhood is fine, but in one night we ended up walking in the middle of a large group of drug addicts just 2 blocks away from the hotel - but then it looked fine as we walked another 100m further. Parking facility requires superhuman patience to find and to get into after for the first time. But the price was awesome. no negative experiences at all, everything was just right. The additional charge for foreign debit cards but almost everyone seemed to be doing it!. The works on extending the metro across the city; what a drag if they get to work 24/7. It was difficult to find what was on TV as there did not seem to be a programme guide option on the remote control. I found some good english language programmes on Danish TV by zapping up and down the channels. Frozen sandwitch the last morning when we had to leave around 05:00am. We turned indown the previous night when staff showed us one from the freezer. Room rates are prety high in comparing with near-by same size hotel within 5 minuets walking distance. The only complaint is that there is construction near the hotel. Thus there was considerable noise, starting early morning. Also had to walk around the site to get to the hotel. This of course was not the hotel's fault. It did affect other hotels in the area. Breakfast was bag of breads left on door. All other hotels on trip had a buffet, and there is construction near the hotel. Only continental breakfast, without a lot of variety. However, it is convenient that it is served to your room and not in a dining hall. the mattress was not confortable as it was quite narrow and leaning on the right side. Nothing. No comment. People noise from outside Bed far too soft for me Small (but adequate) bathroom. Our 1st floor room windows opened up on the courtyard, which was often very noisy. Can't think of anything. Oh our telephone was not working. Breakfast option too narrow (too much sweet ). No negative aspects whatsoever. needs a little remodeling, getting on in years. Room a little smallish. weak wi-fi coverage (room 402) available pactically in the corridor. The noise - stayed on two different weekends and found the nightclubs etc went on pretty well all night - disturbing as we had to get up extremely early for travel. Noisy every night outside our window. Very cute but very talkative little kid across the road used to argue with his parents very loudly each morning!. Only things that were outside Hotels control like roadworks but extra 2 mins here and there was worth it.
