Also, bath and shower were extremely small; hardly enough room to put clothes and towel. There was no lift and I was on the fourth floor, but I knew when Ibooked there was no lift, I just hoped I would not be on thefourth floor. None. En suite bathrooms would be better, but I found the shared bathrooms OK and clean. Room hot, impossible to sleep two persons in doublebed. Impossible to sleep with open window because of noice from street.Small room. a little bit noisy. We had to leave from the hotel at 6.45 in the morning and therefor we could only get a bowl of corn flakes instead. That was a big disappointment after reading of the amazing breakfat on line. no shampoo provided, no fan for summer nights when the window had to be closed because of street noise, room rate too expensive. not many toilets/bathrooms. Noise if you open the window. 1. The room is little bit too small for 4 person. Shared bathroom.We booked another night on our return trip and were given a room which had previously been used by heavy smokers - Not good, the cleaning staff tried to cover the smell up with deoderant - we asked for another room and the staff was accommodating, even tho. we had to wait for 3 hours for our next room. Noise outside during the night was very much. Toilet floor stayed wet for too long after all the morning showers....in a shared hotel it would be good to get some antibacterial spray or toilet seat covers in the WC. Toilets too far from room!!. fluff caught in the extractor fan in the toilet/shower room which I removed. I cannot comment on question below regarding reviews as I did not read any before booking. lack of lift a bit of a pain with moving luggage. very noisy rooms (according to my roomate who was a bit sleepless)...especially when close to the stairs. no elevator (ok for me might not be for others); shared showes and toilets far from some rooms. no elevetor. It was hard to carry my heavy bag to upstairs. no elevator. they charge before check in, and cancel the internet account before check out. It was incredibly noisy! You could hear everything going on, people seemed to be slamming doors left right and centre from 8am to 12pm. Not very nice when you want a relaxing holiday away.Very basic, was a hostel as opposed to a hotel. Breakfast room too smallfor number of guests. There is no lift, so I had to carry my heavy lugguage up to the 4th floor.The first night I stayed was very noisy.The price should be lower.Small rooms, shared bathrooms. getting woken up at 1am by a man banging down doors, and the staff not even realising it. i was very scared. i had to call recpetion to get them to come get this man away, then without question they just let him into the room he said was his, someone could have been in there!. Breakfast limited.

The Saga Hotel's 79 rooms all have TV and phones. They are a mixture of new attractive double and twin bedrooms and large family rooms with 3 or 4 beds. The rooms have either a private bathroom or washbasin (shower and toilet in corridor).

Located in the trendy quarter of Vesterbro, the nearby surroundings host a fine variety of shopping, café and dining opportunities. Try Japanese sushi bars, Thai kitchens, French Cuisine or Danish steaks and browse second hand and retro clothes shops, cool designer stores and cafés.

Reception is open 24 hours and whether you need to find a restaurant, café, shop, sight, museum, concert, nightclub, Saga's friendly staff will do their best to help.

A large continental/Scandinavian breakfast buffet is served from 07.00-10.30.

Free internet is offered to all guests from a computer in the lobby area, as well as free wireless internet in lobby. Internet access is available in all rooms.

Guests are welcome to check in early morning. If the room isn't available upon arrival before 2.00 pm, Saga offers storage facilities at no extra charge. Luggage can be stored on day of departure as well.

Travelling information

By Plane:
From Copenhagen's International Airport, guests can take a train to Copenhagen Central station. (Train leaves beneath the arrival area). From the central station it is a 3 minute walk.
Coming from the platform, take the left hand exit next to the police station and post office, and walk down Istedgade. After 30 metres take a left turn down Colbjørnsensgade and you will find Saga Hotel.

Train leaves several times every hour and the 12-minute ride is a mere DKK 28.50 (EUR 3.80). Tickets can be purchased at DSB office or ticket machines located in arrival area of Airport.

By taxi the ride is approx 20 minutes and costs between DKK 180 and DKK 250
